@kushpa
ok i got it
But I’ve read some articles led from the plant very close As long as the temperature is not hot Is this also a way?
what can i do?
The covering over the actual LED bulbs you can remove to get more light. It’s either glass or plastic. Underneath are the actual LED’s. @Hopkins999
Was just gonna day what @Covertgrower said, get those diffusers off. Most of them will unscrew. And the bulbs that are mounted diffuser up, flip them over once diffuser is removed.
Just don’t harm the yellow surface of the cobs: That is the phosphor. If you manage to scrape that off you jut get blue light.
@dbrn32 @Covertgrower @1BigFella @kushpa
I will try to thank you guys
Yes, you’ll want to experiment. Just allow plenty of time. The hardest early lesson I had to learn is that you have to wait weeks to see how one little adjustment affects things. Keep moving them closer an inch or 2 at a time until you start to notice leaf burn. This should hit top big fan leaves first, so it shouldn’t really hurt your overall harvest much if you don’t overdo it. That’s your limit. I’ve had mine as close as 8-10" without doing damage, so it’s a general rule. Oh, and I’m talking with the big LEDs, I can’t speak to the bulb LEDs, the only bulbs I have are CFL, and you can’t even buy those anymore, in the big chain stores, anyway!
@kushpa
The current height of about 15 “-17” Will slowly close to the plant led bulb will be cfl replace
Still thinking about how to set up cfl
You can buy a lux meter on Amazon for less than $15. Plants need about 20000 lux minimum to veg, more than 45000 to flower. Most strains can’t use more than 85000 without adding CO2. Some indicas can’t take full sun at 120000 lux. WalMart still has 23 real watt CFLs, but you need dozens of those to do any growing.
