There will be seeds if it pollinates a female. Is there a female plant in there somewhere?

If you have already seen pollen I would clean everything very good or for a while your gonna have seedy buds. A little pollen goes a long way.

You guys are great! Thanks for the advice. My other plants are female for sure. Black widow, gold leaf, and Bruce banner. Although I have them in a green house, so few pollinators. Do the plants require pollinators like bees or birds to reproduce? Or simply to be near one another?

No bees or birds needed just a breeze to move the pollen around, a males pollen can travel for miles on the wind, locals that may be surprised one day or even your plants can catch pollen from another grower with males in the area.

And everyone that’s smokes grows up here 10 growers I know of within 1 sq mile here

If you handle the male before the females, you could’ve already brought some in.

Ok. Thanks for all the tips. I tend to plant and say a prayer that what is supposed to grow and bloom does and whatever doesn’t teaches me something new. I’ve got a little sanctuary in city life and grow at least 50 other types of natural medicine in my yard.
I’m striving toward old medicine woman vibes one day.
So thank you for teaching me more about my plants :folded_hands:t4::glowing_star:

Hey new friends! I’m back and my plants have been growing so beautifully. I sing to them and remind them that they are medicine and have purpose :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::heart_eyes: They have become sweet friends already.
Anyway, I’m finding myself in need of assistance for finishing the growth cycle. While I have raised a few plants before, they were done in pots. I put them in the ground this time and put a green greenhouse over them. I’m questioning the decision of the greenhouse as they seem a lack for sun, they could surely have much more? I have theories, but I’d love to hear what you all think and any advice.
Also, I’m not sure when to harvest. I’ve been slowly cutting back the leaves, although I wonder if I should be heavier…just thoughts as I navigate caring for these plants to help them thrive. They are around 16+ weeks now.
One is very seedy b/c I didn’t get the male out in time (thanks whoever told me that it would be super seedy!) Yall got wisdom and I would have been so confused without knowing that, and ALL of my plants would have been that way without the advice to get him out. :folded_hands:t4: What can I do with the seedy plant? Is it useable for anything? Can i still extract oil if I go that direction?
So many questions. Thank you to anyone that has any help. I’m so excited to share with my friends this year, but I want to have the best harvest possible. It’s like taking baked bread to someone’s house. You don’t want it to be dry or overbaked, dull and boring :winking_face_with_tongue:
I mentioned that I grow other medicine too. So I try to be the best steward and smartest farmer with all my medicine.
Yall are the best. Hope your grow season has been a positive one. :victory_hand:t3:

You got that right Sir @Bentstick :+1:

@Madamp would be better off getting rid of the affected bud or risk losing a lot more.
