someone mentioned above you need a food/fertilizer that has zero nitrogen and only potassium and phosphorus.
it will have a 0-XX-XX type of number. The first(Nitrogen) should be 0 then the next two above 0
Lots of variations

You need to do that. It’s harder to use MG unless you have experience with it. But many growers over the years has used it successfully.
Jack’s Part A is P and K and easy to use. Cheap too.
No need to publish both EC and PPM as they are measuring the same thing. (EC of ‘1’ equals 500 ppm on the NACL scale).
I did my first grow in miracle grow potting soil and miracle grow nutrients (the blue stuff) under blurple lights. I didn’t get any negativity here about that, just recommendations for better alternatives for future grows since I wanted to switch to organically/living soil. I did get 1.5 ounces of each plant for a total of just over 7 ounces total.
My Tarzan and children were stoked since it saved them $$ at the dispensary.
No attempt is ever wrong or a mistake. Just keep growing and learning and you will hit your stride.
PS Since I recycle my soil, that miracle grow potting soil is still in the mix! ![]()

Even if you chose not to recycly into grow, outdoor vegtable garden requires good conditioned trained soils, too. No waste, cause the cost was still too much.
Thank you @DEEPDIVERDAVE
I try to recycle or reuse everything I can.
I would could continue water and calmag only and go in at a PH of 7 and consistently check the run off. Good luck with this Growmie ![]()
So now I have to run an experiment. A few plants in MG soil mix and fed MG. A few plants in organic nutrients and some in plain soil with nothing added. Then a double-blind taste test. Several smoke sessions with several test subjects. Sounds like fun.
Just to be clear, i use MG potting mix, not potting soil. ![]()

They dont look so bad for growing in miracle grow they seem quite happy i would top dress with worm castings and maybe some organic compost aswell or you can make up a tea to give them ,you need a ten ltr bucket a air pump and stone a mesh bag of some sorts put two to three cups of worm casting into the mesh bag and place two cups of organic compost in the bag aswell place bag into bucket of water with air stone let it bubble for 24-30 hours add two tablespoons of molasses once bubbled for 24-30 take out bag and put the left overs around or plants outside in ur garden ,now water ur plants with the tea no need to water it down but u can if you want to this will give ur plants a boost
