I personally am an outdoor grower. Im also a newby. I would DEFINITELY take the advice of anyone who replies. These people here are on a TOTALLY diffrent level than any other forum. Great people, more like a grow family. Again, welcome growmie

Greetings @Rickstar Welcome to the community. Like all are saying, it’s a great forum, imho.

If you’re growing indoors, I would definitely get yourself a pH tester. There are a lot of different ones out there. I started off with one of the $20+ pens from Amazon but upgraded later. Apera or Bluelab are good brands. But whichever you decide on, be sure to calibrate it out of the box. This was one of my first mistakes :man_facepalming: :laughing:

When you get the pen it will come with instrustions and calibration powder… make sure.you do that step and dont be a typical guy and not read instructions lol

Exactly :joy: :joy: But really, I’m the other typical guy - I read the instructions but I’m cheap (as much as I can be) and the pen only came with one packet each of the powders and I wanted to save them. I thought ‘certainly they calibrate the pen at factory’. Nope, I was wrong and my ladies suffered for a while. Grow & learn. :v:

Ha! After that, I decided not to go too cheap in that dept. Upgraded to a better pen and bought bottles of cal liquid. :rofl: :rofl: :crazy_face:
