And how often should I be checking the ph

Welcome @Rickstar to a great community. A bit vague of a response…is it an led flashlight or HLG Scorpion Diablo Full Spectrum LED Grow Light? 
Make, model, wattage, type of diodes used etc is what @Mmanson1981 was trying to determine. Your plant appears to be under-lit if it’s 2 months old. Lighting is one of. if not the, most important factor in growing good cannabis.
The folks here can assist in recommending good, affordable lights that will get you growing plants like you see here on their threads. We are here to help, but need more details!
