How to control humidity

I am having trouble controlling the humidity. I have two fans one 9in and one 12in. Also have intake and outtakes fan in my crawl space. It is still running high. Any suggestions my friends.

A dehumidifier might be best in a crawl space if moving all that air isn’t helping
I know it expensive but might be the best option @Rdg1951
What is the temp in the crawl space and humidity readings

The temperature is running 79 to 81 and humidity is high 49. Got it under
control right now. Temperature is 77 and humidity is 39 now. But I know it
won’t stay that way for long. Maybe I will have to put a humidifier in.
It’s only going to get hotter in the crawl space as summer comes.

I see several types of humidifiers on Amazon. They are not that expensive.
My grow space is only 3x5x7. I shouldn’t need a big one. Chromie

@rdg1951 i have a small one I purchased on amazon that fits in my tent and it’s doing a good job…can post a link if it’s OK with the moderators?

I see several at my local Walmart that way I get out of paying S/H.

Quick question Sl1. I just watered my plants this morning would that not
raise the humidity? Just wondering… Chromie

I’m a beginner but I do notice that the humidity in my tent is increased on days I water. The plants change where they drink from depending for humidity levels, either through their roots or their leaves depending on levels, from what I’ve read. Fwiw, I just made the decision to purchase some air quality equipment, even with a small tent and a few plants, I can’t regulate odor, humidity without something more

I’m a beginner also at indoor growing. So I ask a lot of questions. I hope
some of my grow friends aren’t tired of my dumb questions. Thanks my
friend. Chromie

You’ll be looking to remove the humidity in the summer I’m sure but for right now you humidity is a little low for veg flower around 50 is ok you don’t want to much in flower to prevent mold
I try to keep my tent around 65% in veg and 50% in flower or close to those numbers
I use a evaporative type humidifier myself one that’s large enough to do like 500 square feet and I put in my grow room out side tents and maintain room humidity allowing the exhaust to pull humid air into tents threw passive vents
Your in the north east right @Rdg1951 a mass boy if I remember correctly

You can post any link you want from Amazon @Sl1
Low humidity will cause leaves to close the pores ( not the technical name) cause it thinks it in a drought situation and when this happens it effects nute intake at the roots @Niala explains it better but that’s basically what happens

No I’m a Hoosier about 30 miles from South bend…Home of the Fighting
Irish. But I’m a Michigan Wolverine fan. I got it under control now. I
moved my fans around and changed my out take fan to a lower speed. That
seemed to fix it for now. I think once the weather gets warmer I’ll be able
to control it better. Thanks Countryboy… Chromie
