Ready to start next grow. I have 3 10 gal fiber pots, 2 bags happy frog and 2 cubic ftof perlite. my question what would be the correct ratio of perlite to dirt??

I do about 20% added pearlite to soils like Happy Frog.

They say at least 30% of mix should be draining material. Some people do more so they can water more I believe

I use Happy frog all the time. I mix 70% soil 30% perlite. I get excellent draining in 3-5 gallon pots

I don’t know about the percentage I Usually add one quart jar per bag of fox farm soil. Good luck

For your grow, a good ratio is around 70% soil to 30% perlite. Since you’re using Happy Frog soil, mixing 2 parts of soil with 1 part perlite will provide the right balance of drainage and aeration, helping your plants thrive. Just blend it evenly for best results.
