My form of FIMMING I guess… . Taking off those leaves doesn’t seem to bother the plants. I thought I would see more stress, but none. Now just waiting for harvest time. Don’t know how big to expect those buds to get.
I’m just trying to keep people from getting confused. Just generally cutting away foliage or generally cutting off lower branches to improve yield is not FIMMING. It is just, well, pruning.
Fimming is a specific type of merstematic apical “topping” to produce two or more branching tops from the node right below the “FIM”.
Some big fan leaf removal is a common practice in some indoor compact grows to get more light to the developing bud sites, it might not improve yield, depending on how and when it is done.
