I have four strands growing goldleaf AK white widow blueberry all auto flower seeds they’re 10 weeks old they started to grow little white hairs two weeks ago but they seem to be stuck in the stage with the only growth are the leaves how do I get the ppm levels up without raising the dose of the fertilizer The lights are 18/6 the temperature is 72 to 77 with 40% humidity I’ve been told with auto flowers to just keep them on 18/6 from start to finish but does anybody recommend going 12/12? And any help on PPM levels would be appreciated
Thx!!!
I grow Photos and Autos on a 12/12 start to dinish. Bur I have 2 HLG lights.
PPM is a function of dissolved solids in the water. When you add nutrients the PPM will go up due to the salts from the nutrients. To get it higher, you simply add more nutrients. Folks check PPM to see how much nutrients plants are taking up and to target ~1000 ppm in flower. Autos are touchy so you want to be cautious with nutrients. You don’t have much time to correct issues if you over do it.
I grow photos only and push up to a point where I see a hint of burn on the leaves and back off a bit. I do this to max nutrients without harm to plants.
Might be good to fill this help ticket out. You might need a bit more help so a clear picture helps us. I know you have answered some of this, but it saves folks time not having to read through the whole post to see where it is at.

Mine is happy.
I personally don’t worry about run off unless I see a problem. A lot of folks might not agree with this to be fair, but I do pretty well. I use soiless Pro-Mix HP and pH nutes going in.
Do you have a pH meter? This is an extremely important meter. They can be had cheap too. I use an Apera PH20, but if you buy some calibration fluid ( ph 7.0) then you can use a $13 meter if you check cal before use.
Yes I have moisture Light & PH tester !!
The type of meters that have prongs and stick in the soil (often called 3 in 1), are notoriously inaccurate. If that is what you are using I strongly advise you to get a dedicated pH meter.
Question to check the run off do you drain some in a cup ?
