Went down to the tent to water today and noticed a lot of amber pistils retreating back into the bud, so I decided to whip out the microscope for a peak at the trichomes. I see a lot of clear but surprised at a fair amount of cloudy and some amber. She’s a fruity pebbles photo, 6.5 weeks in flower, Jacks321 and adding silica. Just water and silica today as runoff ppm were creeping up a touch. So, if she was your plant, when do you think you’d chop? I’m not and she’s not ready yet, just wondering how long you’d wait for a light couchlock high.

Was that the top main cola that you took the trichome pictures from?
I took them from about 6 different colas and I forgot to label which one is which 
Looking good. Still alot of clear trichomes. Do you have pictures of the whole plant and some bud pictures
The bud pics are about a week ago, and that’s the best whole plant pic I have and it’s a couple weeks old.

Wow nice plant. You want nearly all those white hairs to turn brown and recede back into the calyx’s then start checking trichomes… you’re close but i personally would give it at least another week or two.

I was thinking probably at least 2 weeks…I’m thrown off by how its moving along faster than my last.

Looking good, your almost there … Consider starting to flush for 7-10 days if your going to, then re-evaluate… Should be pretty well done by then

Id personally wait a week and check again. Some amber looking trichomes could be the result of light refecting off the pistils. I made that mistake of pulling too early one time and im still recovering

Opened her up a bit this evening to get more light deeper for the home stretch. I reduced the light intensity to 80%, I’ve heard to reduce in the final few weeks, is that right? I’m happy with the progress and looking forward to harvest!

Went down to give her a drink this evening, figured check the trichomes. I’m getting close to the window for harvest, but I’m thinking wait another week at least but keep watching.

What type of effect are you looking for? According to your pics, this is when i harvest primarily. If you want a more couchlock then wait a few more weeks.
You have a very nice mix of cloudy/amber with a few clears.

I’m looking ptsd and pain relief. So a good body high with a little couch lock-slow down. Still need to semi function and not a huge fan of the racing, speedy high.
