I probably would flower with your light any closer than maybe 15" or so. The 132 is completely different board design and half the power of 288 board your light has.
There is no exactly right answer to how you should handle your light. Once you have developed plant you can probably veg at full power around 24". Or you can dim it and run closer to save a little power. Then gradually increase power or height to harden plants off.
Go with @dbrn32⦠@Hot_Dog_Rage I didnāt realise you had the 288 sorry. @dbrn32 got me started with QB boards and guided me through the build as well as most of my entire beginning with home grows. Donāt worry a few other regulars on here got me the rest of the way⦠@dbrn32 has very sound adviceā:sunglasses:
That is what I usually tell people, 24" and 16-18". Itās unlikely and inch or two here or there is going to change much. You are more or less looking for good balance of coverage and intensity.
@dbrn32@Bubbles1 will post some pics of my grow room Tomoz when I get up Iām pretty happy with it now. just gotta work out best Nutes here in Australia . Got some worm pee to start with anyway so should be okay
Check stage of growth against nutrient levels on the different types of SEASOL⦠Donāt under estimate the stuffā¦
We donāt have to spend a fortune.
Hey mate fellow Anzac here the hlg are a great light an you will get great results Iām running the 550 V2 rspec and loving it
Seasol is pretty good for veg not for flowering and from Bunnings thereās a product called go go juice it is great if your in soil adds lots of microbes
Proffersors nutrients are Aussie made an there organic range is awesome
Thanks guys , ill get down to Bunnings soon. @dbrn32 Just checked out my new HLG 135w this morning all good but I noticed the driver is hot to the touch. Is this standard? So almost to the point where I canāt keep my hand on it. Can feel the heat coming off the driver when I open the door. Cheers mate.
