Whatever cash you have in your grow is an investment you will get crazy return on. You’ll over do it trust me… I have more bud than I could probably smoke in a lifetime and I smoke a lot.
Beware growing makes you a snob. I seriously can’t smoke anything but what I love.everything else is now swag weed and for the streets

I think my total set up cost about $900… of course, I told my wife it was considerably less lol
$300 for 200W lights
$100 tent
$35 for 2 fans
$200 for carbon filter and inline fans
$35 humidifier
$50 for timer, power strip
$40 for nice pruners and clippers
$30 for various grow bags etc
$50 for nutrients
Etc etc etc
Oops and $500 for seeds! Yikes. I got it bad. Still have 33 seeds left

Right… I have a infinity fans and tent with controller. 350HLG diablo 300HLG and 2 hlg65v for the clone shelf. Plus all the gadgets

Awesome…thank you for the continued education! From you and others, I’m learning to treat these plants just like I treat my garden plants. I think a lot of new growers treat them like these plants are the second coming of Jesus.
I mean, train 'em, water 'em, give them enough light, give 'em food, and stay out of their way!

Yeah… It doesn’t work that way.
The early harvest syndrome is the worst… grow 4-5 month and harvest early. Makes zero sense to me.
Don’t get caught in that trap.

I’ve been trained well by you and others. Even though I’m growing autos, I’m not gonna jump the gun. I hope not to pay another $400 for an ounce…but it is what it is.

I don’t see you doing buying smoke every again. When you get bored with autos try photos. They are actually fun to torture and train anyway you want… for me it’s an art … you seem to actually enjoy growing so I think you will enjoy.

@BigItch I hear ya. Once I get some crops in jars…photo’s sound pretty fun.
As Cypress Hill so eloquently said in “Insane in the Brain”:

Thus…I grow in my speakeasy well room. I’m not too interested in heading underground. Nor do I have a “nine-deuce Cad.” I drive a Honda. And have a job/career.
I mean, respect, but it’s just not my lifestyle, know what I mean?
Yeah I’m not trying to ever have a problem either… I drive a truck and have a union job ( if ya call that a career) where I live your allowed to hold 5lbs in the house.which is an absurd amount. I donate a good amount to a vet program where they try to pull them off the street and hard drugs. My wife also deals with several cancer patients who she gifts marijuana because the medical shops are insane. I also run a small lotto for young adults in nursing homes due to accidents and such.
Imma a hippie that loves being a do gooder it’s helps me heal while doing something I love.

Here’s my 4/7/22 update:
I’ve trimmed a bit more (evident with the leaves on floor with one of my pictures). I also hung the cheap 300w led from my grow tent package.
And to everyone…no, it’s not 300w from the wall…just like my mars isn’t 1000w from the wall (stop asking). The lights are equal to those watts if they were incandescent. Who doesn’t know that? I’m sure there will be some light snob to refute my claim - I don’t care.
FYI, my 300w throws off more blue light - my AK47 is darker, but not purple-like.
I digress. It’s Thursday and I’m into some beer. ~smile~

I get a bit bucky when I become “the other Friend.” I have no interest in light snobs. Not sure if you’ve ever seen the movie ‘old school,’ but I kinda become Frank the tank when the beer touches my lips.

What do early flowers look like? The white widow (it’s the one in the back right…the tall one) has a bunch of flower-type sites. But I don’t exactly know when flowering begins. I know you all aren’t botanists, just like a supreme court justice can’t define a woman because she’s not a biologist…but I was hoping to understand when my girls are flowering.
Any botanists out there?
