How many day left in a grow when trichs are cloudy clear and very few amber till they are mostly cloudy with some amber? I know I’m close to the end of the grow but want max potency.

I will also be doing a 48 to 72 hour dark period, so I’m assuming it should be within the week, I think not sure. Please help

My first time idk. Flying by the seat of my pants. I also want to get the best yields and results I can. Trying to time it right.

I really don’t see any amber on the top buds. I can see a mixture of cloudy and clear. I do see a lot of leaf yellowing and tip burns though. Isn’t that a sign they’re finishing up?
They’re 13 weeks above ground today. Day 60 of flower. Opinions? I know you’d like to see trichome pics but don’t have a way to take them.

It looks like it’s getting close but still alot of straight n light pistils, when you look at the trichomes look about mid bud and not right on top where it’s still making new stuff. Overall think you have a couple weeks min, this is the most stressful time for me growing just waiting for Amber to come help lol

Is there a way u can post pics of the trics u see. Even if u have to take a small single bud off the bottom area look and inspect thT bud. If the lowers have milky and amber with little clear all the tops are gonna be in way better shape. Then u have a small poece u can let dray a day and throw in a bowl to see what the buzz is gonna b like. Taste might not be there or smell but ull have same high effects maybe even a toich better as it dries and cures. Remember as it dries hanging and curing trics will mature a small bit too. It also helps alot to keep the plant in atleast 48 hrs of total uninterrupted dark and as soon as u open for chop do it super fast. The faster the better as like 1 to 2 minutes and everything from rootball shoots back up thru the plant.

I figured I’d get the standard couple of weeks answer lol. It’s getting close and I’m anxious to finish but trying hard to be patient and do it as right as I can.

Yep dont take her early and dont let her dry out too fast or too much is the only issues i had with first run.

I did take a little piece off each plant and look on a nice flat counter. Dried each little piece and gave all but one a try. The 3 I tried gave me a distinguishable buzz. The 4th piece my son tried and he’s got more tolerance than me . He said it got him high so at least they work. He’s going to come back Saturday and we’ll take a few more samples to both look at the same thing.

I hate the two weeks answer too lol I don’t even like it when I’m looking at mine I’ll think well it should be about two weeks and two weeks pass and still think maybe another week… it’s just hard to guess what mother nature is doing

I don’t have a macro lens or one of the microscope things. Just the jewelers loupe. I wish I did then I could also get better look.

Try holding the loupe right to your camera lense i did it. U get a circle pic but u can see it and zoom on them. Kinda sux to hold it all together but u can do it. I have faith. Just hold the lense right where u see the pic good no zooming yet take a pic no flash unless ur flash is away from the lense so u dont get a blur ull see what i mean i hold a flashlight on the bud im taking a pic of. Well i have a cheap 12 dollar usb microscope from walmart i use now. Macro lenses unless the expensive ones dont work so good imho

I’ll give that a try. I didn’t think that would work. I thought about trying to zoom way in w my phone then edit the picture to see how close I could get to seeing them.

I’m outta likes Brother But good things come to those that wait. You got a few weeks to go. And the yellowing is normal the plant is taking what it needs to finish up.
