Howdy All
The days are getting warmer but too short in daylight hours to plant this clone out.
Hmmm…
So I made a box up with led lights powered by USB power bank
The led lights have a controller for brightness and timer as well so I set it for an extra 4 hours a day plus daylight hours takes it to over 16 hours a day.
I put the box over plant at dusk and switch on lights, set timer and remove box before sunrise.
It has been topped with two main branches and I will train them horizontally as wide as space allows…Needs to be stealthy.
Have another I will put out in November, just wanted to see how this one goes.
Looking good @Hashtonbutcher great set up plat nice and healthy hope you have a fantastic grow this year. I went out this morning and my third one got eaten which sucks but the other two have probably doubled in size.
This might work. I met some guys in Africa that grew outdoors. (always close to 12 hours of daylight) They have to use supplemental lights at night to delay flowering. They said security spotlights are enough to keep them in veg. (seemed like they had 10 plants or so…but I did not see their setup. If they do not use the lights, the photos act like autos and start flowering as soon as they are mature.

How you doin …
Second month of spring here and it was a stinker here yesterday, 37 C= 98.6

So ,the clone is starting to find its feet.
Getting on to a foot tall , have to start making frame to train on.
Looking good @Hashtonbutcher looks like all the burn gone.
Howdy All
Cut her back and tied her down making a frame to train on horizontally.
She is growing well.

Merry Christmas
So the test subject had supplemental lighting removed November ,getting 13 1/2 hours daylight.
What has happened
It is flowering now, I think it should re vegetate soon.
Not bothered it was going to be too big the way it was going and it is stinky already.
So I put another small one in .
Super hot here…
Every time I see this thread it makes me think of the Beatles. Like humming out loud. Just popped in the Casper baby pants cover.
…lil darling, it’s been a long cold lonely winter.
You got it
Great song
Looking good @Hashtonbutcher looks like things are going great for you keep up the good work.

Greetings from the penal colony, we are not allowed to grow our own medicine here.
Here is what I think about that…#####
Another stinking hot day here, plants love it .
The trained one is cherry dragon, the other is lemon skunk and the little one is gelato.
Hoping the little one is a male , I want to cross with the others.
I keep telling myself I have enough seeds but I love making seeds to see how they turn out.
That is the best part of growing for me,making seeds.
Will try and make my own feminized soon.
I have worked out how to not over pollinate now, i just trim the flowers off most branches and leave one branch and one main flower head on the male and watch closely.
Once it starts dropping yellow colored pollen , I just get some on my finger tip and pollinate female flower and then pull the male.
He has done his job.
Have another little male that is a cherry dragon ready to pollinate just in case the little one is female.
Will find out in a few weeks…
I am calling this now on the little one…it just “looks” male.
I got five on it…
We are 2 peas in a pod. I like growing seeds more than buds these days. It’s what gets me excited and growing more than a flower harvest these days.
Female praying mantis do the same thing. After they get “pollinated” by the male, she bites his head off…literally.
