Help with humidity

When i went to check on my girl this morning i opened the tent and it looked like she was smoking a dobbie in there from all the mist. I checked the RH and it was 99% i usally keep the humidity under control. will that high of humidity hurt her? Forgot to mention i use a cool mist humidifier and temps at night low to mid 70’s

Hello,99% humidity is no good bruh, personally I’d ditch the humidifier/ mist thing you have. I don’t have tent experience and I run a 8 1000 watt sodium flower room and have had humidity issues in the past. My lights when on eat up humidity but I do run a dehumidifier for both veg and flower room.Regarding humidity i like it between 40-60 but been successful at keeping it around 48-52 …if I had to choose I’d want lower then then higher. I’ve been down in the high 30s and never had issues what so ever. I like to keep temps 76-80 … 2 24,000 btu mini splits on flower room and one 18,000 btu in veg so I guess it’s easier for me to dial in heat and humidity vs a tent set up. Once again this is what I do and go by maybe others have other opinions but I’d get ride of the humidifier and no need for it mostly when your rh is 99%… I could see using that maybe in the winter when rh gets super low like here in the high teens to low 20s. No matter what you use is always heat… Personally if I had a tent I’d buy a small dehumidifier if you have 99% eh issues. Wish you luck. I’ll watch and see what you end up doing and your progress to lowering rh…oh at 99% that’s guaranteed mold/mildew issue along with plants growing and being happy. Might get by at 70 rh but I’ve never left mine at that number so can’t really give an opinion other then I think that’s high also. Would be better at 70rh then 99% wow… anyway my book I just typed is out of hand… Take care…:ok_hand:

Oh, sorry for the book… but short duration of rh won’t Jack you up to no return… reread your post… Good luck!

@Deepsix I agree with @anon47338222 way to high no matter what stage your ladies are at. Indoor grow im assuming? Do you have a tent or room setup? Exhaust fan? How old are your girls? Autos or photos?

I will fall in line with the others. This time of year in US most are running dehumidifier for their grow.

if its an area that you usually get wet then its a good possibility…

@Night Yea when i opened the tent the leaves where all wet i shaked the excess water off i guess i didn’t get it all off. Thank you

I’d suggest heavy defoal to aid in air movement and stacks of fan leaves that hold moisture also.
