Help understanding the DLI formula

I’m new on this DLI and ppfd readings with the photon app. I have a true 1000 watt LED light and I used the full sun setting at 18 hours. My readings from the light to the top of the canopy is 40 DLI and 660 ppfd that’s in the last stage of my veg and I’m ready to flip to 12/12. My light is 35 inches high from the top of the plants and I have my light intensity set at 70%.

I hope you can figure out this upload thing because I sent you some pictures of my plants. Would that be good readings for the stage of my grow. Once I flip to 12/12 hours do I turn down the light intensity that’s on 70% and adjust my plant height and etc. for a thousand watt light approximately what is your DLI and ppfd reading should be at the start of my 12:12 flip? Example is how many weeks into flower should my DLI and ppfd be and what should approximately my readings be as it grows through the weeks of the flower stage. And I did use a diffuser. If you got a picture of my plants obviously the front left three are autos when they should have been photos. Thank you for your help

I forgot to mention it’s in a 4x4 tent

Hortus grow app explains and tracks it well. @Growmoredank

I try to provide at least 1000 PPFD to the lowest cola (or will-be cola) during veg and flower. I’ve run my LED lights at 100% as close as 3" from the canopy to accomplish that without seeing any harm to the plants. At that distance, I can barely discern any heat from them with my hand.

Their backsides (with the power supplies), on the other hand, radiate significant heat that must be removed by the exhaust fan to prevent the tent from getting too hot. That becomes easier as the distance from the lights to the fan decreases. So I often have to compromise between maximizing the PPFD and keeping the tent’s temperature acceptable.

This is a good video to watch.

Research but anything at or above 1000 ppfd may require Co2
