Help plants have been on 12/12 light and they are slow to flower

Growing runts layer cake and mimosa evo;
I have had several successful grows. I tried scrogging in vedgatation cycle. Left another person in charge while out of town. When I returned the plants were touching the lights. Tried moving all lights to the highest point in the shed. The light schedule started 12/ 12 July 19 . Had some ph issue 7.8 - 8.2 I used ph down to correct ph. I have been using Bergman nutrients . The plants were real bushy so I had to trim because the light wasn’t getting through the middle of plants.

The problem is the flowering cycle it has been almost 8 weeks and the buds have not formed yet. Pic enclosed.

Flowering does not begin because we flip the lights to 12/12. She can only flower if mature. I do see a few white hairs but not many. Do you know if these are Fem? Some of them look a bit suspect, like maybe some males in there. Hopefully not though.

How many plants and how much lighting are they getting? Based on the node spacing, seems to be seriously underpowered for so many plants.

Do you know what your feeding them as far as PPM’s? Are you monitoring your runoff for pH?

Are there multiple plants in same pot?

Yes they are fem all seven, I started my grow in large pots 16 May . Yes my light isn’t enough for my plants didn’t realize how tall they were going to get. I feed them every week according to the Bergman nutrient schedule . I have not checked the run off not really a lot of run off after watering .
All plants are in their own pot, the plants just grew to tall and no room in my shed. Was wondering if I should just chance moving some outside I live in the south was afraid of mold. At this point I just don’t know what to do I really count on my harvest for medical needs.

They grew tall due to not enough light. You would need about 1000 watts for 7 plants. 150-200w per plant will keep em shorter with tight node spacing. How many watts are you pushing to 7 plants?

I have 7 lights , because the plants are to tall I had to move light to the center of shed.
These are my lights (pic)

What light do you recommend?

I cannot find a simple answer to how many watts is a Kingled KP 2000 which leads me to believe anything you find may be exaggerated. They do mention Samsung diodes, the older model, but without an exact answer to how many watts it puts out, I cannot offer any advice on whether they are sufficient. They are not 2000 watts, with 7, you would have 14000 watts and that just aint so. I recommend to anyone that asks to use AC, HLG or spiderfarmer with a few other budget lights like Mars Hydro or Chilld.

@dbrn32 can you offer any assistance?

The 275 watts per unit seems about right. If ever in doubt all electronics sold in US should have a label on back, bottom, or cord that displays operating voltage and current. Volts*amps=watts.

I agree the plants pictured above appear to have been under weak light conditions. At least at some point anyway, the node spacing on lower parte of plants supports thiw theory.

What should I do now ? Do a put a few tall ones outside? Try to use light I have to salvage the others?

If they are too tall for your grow space you can bent them over and tie they down carefully.

Thank you, just bend the whole plant down or individual branches?

Both if need be start with the tall branches. Use something that won’t cut your branches like coated wire, yarn, hay bale string etc.

Thank you so much for the help. I moved one outside . And carefully tied the other tall branches down I used coated wire from the garden section and string.

Hoping the outside plant will survive.

My original lights were “Vipar Spectra"s” (impressive and colorful adds. back when I kne nothing).
The V1200 maxes at 535 watts.
The R900 maxes at 440 watts.
The others, less.
IMD, they were purchased when the newer (Knock-offs). became cheaper.
They are a waste, but I have paid the price to learn.
The Kil-a-Watt measures electrical loading, not advertised (maybe).
IR-Gun measures leaf temps.
They will grow plants
Up-scaling to HLG 350R was impressive to me.
The noticeable and measurable difference was obvious.
The V1200 535-Watts output measured the same as the HLG350R (@200watts). The LUX Measured at 25 inches below the lights, same.
Heat produced by the Vipar Spectras Outstanding for artic growing.
HLG has videos about comparison pricing.
I trust them and AC-Infinity for quality and expensive products, the work as advertised.

Thank you so much for the great information.

I bought several KINGLED lights one was received with a broken fan and the company ghosted me never will order from them again. They do not honor the warranty .

Somewhere in my thread exists other good information.
