Help! plants falling over!😭

Alright y’all, I cut out the tomatoe cages. How I can keep my plants from pulling an erectile dysfunction?! I do have bamboo sticks & I’m pretty sure they’re too tall to trellis!
Any suggestions?

I am in my first grow so can’t help but wanted to say nice plants!

You could set a trellis net up higher for them to lean against! Or get some plant wire and tie the colas to the bars at the top of tent.

I don’t know if it will work for your plants but I had one where all the colas wanted to fall over and I lassoed her together with string like 3/4 of the way up and then anchored the whole thing to a tent pole with more string. Got me to harvest.

Plant wire, I’m sure I can get that at Lowes or Home Depot? I’m gonna have to YouTube what you’re talking about. Any pic examples?

I knew I could count on y’all white folks…lol
It’s been awhile since I’ve ridden :eggplant:anything so my lassoing may be a bit rusty…lol. Any examples?

LOL. I’m a Philly boy so I might not be best for this! Let me see if I can dig up a picture of what I did to her.

Okay apparently I didn’t anchor it to the pole that musta been a different one. But here’s what I did when this one laid her branches down hard horizontally.

I tried tying the colas individually at first but that got absurd. My tent was like a string maze

I think I would try the net route. Get a cheap one because you may have to cut it up to harvest your plants. Tie it to the corners and lower it trying to catch as many buds as you can. You may need some of the bamboo stakes too.
Can you adjust the height of your lights? Given how much your plants stretched, it looks like your lights should have been much lower while they were growing. And raised as they grew taller while not allowing them to stretch for the light.
My first white widows got away on me too. I had to tie it to the tent poles and hang them from the tent’s ceiling. It was a mess but I did make it to harvest. Good luck

I agree net probably your best bet. I only got creative because my tent is wedged in. I only have one entrance. With a net I wouldn’t be able to get to half the plants. I have to pull some out to get to the back.

That’s exactly what would happen w’me, I’d have to remove the plants from the tent to get to the ones in the back. My tent also only has one entrance.
I think the bamboo sticks may be the way to go? I already have a sh7t ton of those.

That should work! Sounds like a plan to me. Makes sense to have anchor points in the pot. That idea never occurred to me at the time. Now I’m growing shorter sturdier plants that don’t have that issue and are easier to get in and out.

@DaygoGal420 Bamboo sticks work fine, and you can still move your plant around if you like. Just my thoughts good luck.

Since you’re in a similar situation thought I’d share. These girls are only 16 and 18" tall. No issues with moving them around or cola support. Good for 2-3 ounces each and I can fit a bunch and get some nice variety.

And a better view of how I get there
