Help needed, possible nutrient burn

It typically only ever gets to a max ph of 8.5 and stays there

LOL brother thats way too high  you need a ph - to help stabilize

Got it haha. Just trying to figure out how it’s getting up there when the fluid I introduce is significantly lower. Water temp is 69*

Interesting. This is my first grow and first time playing with hydroponics. After some reading on here I’m shocked I’ve gotten this far with SS little as I’ve done

hands down best part of hydroponics is you get to dump the res and start over …over and over again

I’ve yet to dump mine :man_facepalming::joy:

Well I pulled the reservoir out and there was a ton of root pieces and such floating around in there. Rinsed it out really good and put it all back. Hopefully she’ll look better tomorrow. Will have tds and ppm readings Thursday and see where that lands me.

Well got home today and ppm meter was here. Water was already back up to a ph of 7.9 somehow when I put 6.0 in it last night.

Ppm is at 600

What does this info tell me?

Anyone have any idea?

Hang on - I have a chart somewhere that explains wtf we’re looking at here.

By the way, what was the ppm when you had the pH at 6.0? And is the water level decreasing any?

Here’s the info I was looking for - not the source I wanted but it’ll do the job.

Ok this makes sense. The stupid little thing I started this girl in and left it in is a tiny little herb garden thing from Amazon :man_facepalming::joy:. Worked really well for a while, but at this point I think the plant out grew the reservoir. It holds a max of 5L and I’m adding almost a gallon of water daily
