Well one thing I can point out, high temps no good, not much you can do out door, however when it finishes, all hairs will darken, best way to tell is with a jewelers loupe, they are 5-10$ on eBay. The mutation would show in leaves not likely to be shown in buds, I think it’s not liking the climate, are you nearing winter?
did you see my other strains ? do they look ok in your opinion ? except I’m beginning to worry about the height on 2 of them, both are about 55" right now, one is in early flower the other isnt even showing flower yet…I need to keep them from getting any taller, but idk what the best technique is…i usually grow indicas and these are sativa dominant and going nuts
no im in South Carolina…yeh the loupe is what i used to look at lower buds that are done with crispy brown hairs lol
No I havent, top the one that’s not in flower and super crop the one in early flower, both techniques will control height, and make them bush. Supercropping is when you crush the xylome inside the stock without breaking the plant, and topping you just remove the top leaf node
Then to me sounds like she doesn’t like the environment , that just might be an odd ball. It happens, not often but it does
also, this is the first year I’ve grown in pots instead of in ground. As far as nutes go, Ive always been a fish heads and egg shells kinda girl, but am open to any ideas. My neighbors landscaping has changed so I had to go a little more low key and do pots. I used FFOF/CocoPeat soil and very minute amounts of Dynagro nutes. What would you suggest ?
What size pots is my first question, flora series, bio series is good for begginers, calcium-Magnesium (cal mag) is used to balance acidity from nitrogen, if it rains alot and you see them droop, it’s due to the nitrogen in the lightning, they will come back around the day. But that’s of course by choice, I’m not telling you what to do or to go buy it all at once but every little investment helps out, and definately will pay off
the 4 top indica honeysuckle is in a 4 gal but it only has few more weeks…the other crazy one is in an 8 gal other 2 in 10 gal
How much are they fed of the dynagrow? And to be specific the one im trying to help with lol
that one is 8 gal. i usually have been doing 1 tsp per gal of nitrate once a week but when it started showing flower i switched to phosph 1/2 tsp per gallon twice a week…but i haven’t done anything for a week now bc I’m flipped out about the plant in general LOL
oh some cal-mag and i usually do blackstrap during last 3 weeks but im about to give up on this one
Use Pro Mix BX instead of Coco.
Build a pole structure and drape 60% shade cloth over the grow area. Shade plus some wind = lower humidity and much lower temps on the foliage.
Do you have any wind velocity in your area?
sometimes but where I have them now they are blocked pretty well, I will try the pro mix thanks
Please keep us posted, pro mix, or MG moisture control soil at the bottom for next time, I bet you’ll see an outstanding difference, and what @latewood mentioned, was what I was trying to point out with lower temps on the plants, and definately let them get some wind, the wind will help it and work as a positive stress factor on the roots
@vicbesos420, thanks man yes sir I got the spot
, feels quite amazing lol, and yes sir that I am
Thanks guys, I cut everything that was finished below the new stuff. I will keep you all posted you’ve been much help
OK Mama,
If your wind is blocked, as least consider shade cloth. It alows for almost a 15-20 degree drop in temps under the shade.
These are outdoor under the regular sunlight hours?
Are these auto flowers or regular photoperiod strains?
How long is the night where you are at? Only barely now reaching about ten hours of darkness, right?
Many regular photoperiod strains will not finish outdoors with 14 hours or more of sunlight.
At around 30 to 35 degrees north of the equator, South Carolina is at about 34 degrees north, the peak harvesting time is around the end of September at the earliest and maybe as late as late October or early to mid November outdoors under natural sunlight.
Happy Growing,
