Slow down a little. You’re in the best place to learn to grow. 4-5 oz is possible from one small plant. You will need a “good” light. Most of the cheap lights are going to underperform and waste your money. You can ask around here or search and you’ll find out a lot of basic truths that will help your grow.
1 you need a good light
2 you need good watering techniques
3 noone here is trying to steer you wrong but you’ll get differing input from different growers/styles. Take your time ask questions. Its a great thing but its not exactly easy.
Whats your goal? 4 oz in a few months. An auto will grow to finish on avg in 14-16 weeks. Then cure for 2-6 weeks. Its a long process that takes patience. Im not sure about that light. Hopefully more folks will chime in. Youre already getting good input. Good luck buddy and we’re all here to help and learn at the same time.
So basically the tent you describe is a 3ftx3ftx6ft tent. It would be my personal opinion to grow 2 plants in that tent with that light. Get a mentor on this forum that will follow your grow with you, and maximize your plants potential. I think you will find, 2 plants done properly will fill that tent and exceed your expectations.
Hi the equipment you showed last I have a guess would grow 2oz plants, getting a half pound out a 90x90, good for a beginner with that gear.
10 liter pots, 4oz plants will need water every day. My 2oz plants in 2gal needed water almost every day.
What does it take to grow a pound, I dunno. I have a guess, a 4x4 and around 600w. The big canopy will need bigger ventilation. AC, dehumidifier maybe
You just told him the truth! If it was that easy, we wouldn’t need a forum. Lol He’s in the right place though.
@dbrn32 is our resident light expert, mabey he will chime in . But you are going to need more than you have now.
They really should add under ideal conditions and optimal nutrition, that misleads a lot of new growers . The White Truffle I ordered said 2000 gr per M2. I know I’m not going to get over 4 lbs from a 3x3 space, but it sure would be badass.
When you’re talking about harvest weight growing indoors this is typically qouted in size of canopy and not a per plant basis. You could grow 4 small plants and harvest roughly the same weight as one large plant, or lots of different scenarios. A pound of weed dry out of a 3x3 is attainable, but it’s not typical results from a new grower.
If you want a small grow with large capabilities at a budget friendly price I would go take a look at what @TheAbu95 does. Here a few links
I think it would be a lot to expect to repeat what he does, but certainly possible.
It aint been but a year or so ago since you were talking to me about grams per watt and what i could expect lol. If you have a quality light and are willing to listen to your elders anything is possible .
How much power should light have?
Can you recommend what light to buy?
The light i have is my first one so im kinda biased as far as that goes. Im using the 300w spider farmer se3000 in a 27x27 tent.
I have a 3x4 area indoor grow, and i just had a harvest of 3lbs 14.5 ounces wet weight. That dried to around a pound!
This is my current grow, with two plants in 5 gallon fabric pots and a 400w LED Vevor grow light
This is the light im using.
That light has cheap price for that power so that’s OK is it good?
So u planted 2 plants and got pound of dry yield?
I was thinking to put 3-4 20 l in 90x90x180
I was hoping to get close that range with 3-4 plants
And what’s biggest size of tent that I can use with that 400w led
Or what’s the number of plants that can feed under that kind of light
I had three plants going, under a scrogg screen, with the 400w led set to 100% at all times.
During veg i had the timer i have the light hooked too set to come on at 6:00am, and go off at 12:00am. When i flipped them to flower when i was happy with how big they were, i switched the light to come on at 12:00pm and go off at 12:00am.
I topped the plants after the 5th node, and removed the two lowest branches, leaving 6 main branches coming off the main stem, and just bent those to span out 75% of my screen, and the other 25% will fill in during the stretch they go through in flower.
My two plant run i did the say way, i harvested around 10ounces, so right around 5-6 ounces a plant doing this method.
I have fit 4 plants under one of these lights, without a screen, just bending and tying the branches down.
Here is several of the same light, with several autos just started.
