I have outgrown my grow space. Is this situation salvageable, or do I need to cut my losses? (I have ordered a new, much larger grow tent).
Can you put it in a larger space? The alternative is to get to whacking before she goes into flowering.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a larger space to put it in unless I can get it in the tent, but that’s still a few days maybe a week or two off.
Actually your northern lights have outgrown their grow space. Next time, fewer plants and major LST. They like what ever you are doing. I do think you will want to know the ppm of what you are feeding them
If they autos going into flower I certainly would not whack them. Looks to me like your only choice is to bend them over or maybe lean your pots at an angle and start tying the branches down away from the light anyway you can.
I grew 4 plants in a 4x4 with 4 massive plants. Three of them killed the 4th. When I say massive I mean 7 to 8 feet tall and just as wide.
This will seriously hurt your over all haul.
Can you move it to a larger room and let it sit out for a few days?
If I move it out of the cabinet I will have to disconnect the air pump and the reservoir won’t have aeration. At that point I’ll have to keep the cats away, but how long do I leave them out?
Imo you only have one choice and that’s take em out of there and put em in a closet or just a corner of the room until the tent shows up… as for the water I am a soil only grower and will not be any help
Are they autos?? I still didn’t see that part?? If not autos and not in flower ur good. Let’s do some cloning and shorten her up. Not a bad thing it’ll give u a start for the tent when u get it. Bigger tent is gonna call for a bigger light tho remember this. If that’s an auto I’d go thru right now and snap every mine of them branches at the half way point and weave string or a net over top of them and let it grow up from there. It is possible to make that plant finish there some way somehow. Let’s do it.
You can shorten the cables on your light an gain a few inches but not going to solve all of your problems. Just my thoughts good luck

UPDATE
I moved the plants into the spare bathroom and rigged the lights as best as I could. I get another air pump tomorrow so hopefully one night without air won’t harm them too bad.
