You know cause this seed has gone the way its gone, would you guys stick it in some soil or still wait till tap root comes out? Even though its there If you know what I mean thanks
@Oldguy @Covertgrower @kellydans
I would fold the paper towel back over it, paper towel needs to be nice and damp not standing in water. clamshell Between Two saucers give it a little more time to sprout. Just my thoughts good luck
Great thank you its nice and damp not wet with a paper towel over it too and got a ceramic bulb over them to keep them warm on about 23’c I shall put a plate over top to thanks ![]()
I usually dribble a little water on my paper towels couple times a day to keep them nice and damp. ![]()
I put mine in a ziplock sealed with a bit of air in it, the seeds in between a paper towel folded in half.
Looks like they need a bit more time.
I would just add to keep it in a dark place that is on the warmer side.
And when would you guys switch the bloom switch on too please, the plan was to put my propagator in there too but take it I wouldn’t be able to do this if I end up putting the veg and bloom on too as there different stages
I’d plant the one with a tap root. Prob a good idea to start another seed.
Don’t think the other one (open shell ) is gonna do anything.
Not sure On the veg and bloom switch.
@Covertgrower might have an answer for you.

Your seedlings doesn’t need a lot of light right now I would wait till you get 4 or5 full sets of leafs then turn veg and Bloom switch on. Looking at the picture looks like both seeds is popped I would plant both.
Thank you @kellydans @Oldguy, iv planted both in the propagator just incase and got another seed on the go to be on the safe side
so @kellydans you know when the two that are in the big pots when those get there 4/5 sets of full leaves and stick bloom on , what’s best thing to do with the ones in the propagator? Hopfully by the time they get there full sets the ones on the propagator will be where those are now or won’t be far of the sets as there like 6 days behind ![]()
They will be fine, 6 days no big deal stick them under the light, When you get ready.
I’ve had a few that looked like that. They’re slow on the start, but eventually take off.
Great thanks for the advice ![]()
Got another question ![]()
when would you start giving them the proper water and not a mist, when they get there 4/5 sets of true leaves?
Looking good. Off to a nice start. The great folks here gave sound advice.
Continued success.
Enjoy the experience.
Right just thinking ahead should of maybe fort about this before getting a small tent, my tent is 75m2, these nl can grow up to 120, I’m doing 4 of them
would it even be possible to scrog? Or isit best to get a bigger tent before it’s to late? @kellydans @Oldguy @PP3121 @Covertgrower
Personally I think a plant needs a 2x2 space. If You buy a bigger tent you will need more lights. You can always do some training to spread a plant out an control upward growth. You might consider going with what you got for this grow and make adjustments next grow if you like.![]()
Thank you I know what a numpty I am even could of stuck them in smaller pots not 11l
what sort of training would you recommend to keep them small as possible I have got a scrog net if tthat would work but would the stems just grow the same but horizontal? Like same size, what about light schedule? I’m on 20/4 atm and light distance @kellydans
Topping or fimming is going to slow down the upward growth, an let the side branches catch up and make a nice even canopy. Also you can gently pull and tie limbs to spread the plant out.Small seedlings I will do 24/0 couple weeks in I swap to 18/6 your plants will benefit from a dark cycle. The height on your light I’m not familiar with that light I would checked with manufacturer’s recommendations.
