Hellraiser grows Zkittlez and Banana Kush in coco with Jacks 321

I’m still in the research phase but coco & Jacks looks like a great combo.
Hellraiser you pump out tons of helpful info and I appreciate you spreading the knowledge!
I’m staying tuned…

Ok just keep my eyes on the weight of pot. What is a good temp and humidity for these little girls. When you do water do you just mist or what do you use to water them.

Welcome to ILGM, you have definitely found the right journal here for any help you may need. :+1:

A good temp for seedlings is 75-82F for fast growth, cold temps will make for slow growth, it’s why I leave my seedlings on 24/0 light for a week to 10 days - the constant light keeps temps up and steady which makes for fast growing seedlings, humidity anywhere from 40-60 would be fine, my seedlings were mostly at 25-50RH and you can see the low humidity did not bother or slow them down one bit.

I never mist (or dome) seedlings, I just pour some water into the pot/cup.

May I ask you where you are from

I also have them under a 300 watt led. At around 24" from light. This is what they are looking like today.

I’m mostly from west Texas but my father was in the military so traveled all over the states and some years in Germany as well.

military brat…me too. I graduated from high school and moved out before my Dad went to Korea for a couple years. My brother said it was eye-opening…really wish I had the chance to live over seas. I was in Germany for a couple years, but was maybe 4 or 5 so I don’t remember much. :joy:

My family spent 3-4 years in Germany and left when I was 12, loved it, specially loved the seasons and snow which I rarely/never see in west Texas. I remember my dad saying that I’m not gonna need that snow sled where we’re going (to the desert LOL).

I knew several people that spent their high school days in Germany…I heard all about the parties! But growing up in the military is/was a good thing imo. You get to see different parts of the country/world and that’s good for people I think. Does suck to have to leave friends/school every 2-4 years though, but otherwise a character building experience.

I have always loved the German culture… I took German in high school. Love to visit there one day!

No the reason I asked was you are about in a temperature range where I am from. Arizona but dry.

Yep, that was the worst part, never seeing your childhood friends ever again.

Yeah very dry where I am as well in west Texas, middle of the desert. I run humidifiers to get it to a decent level as much for me and the wife’s comfort as well as the plants.

I asked you earlier about my light that I am using. 300 watt led is that ok I have it like 24" from the seedlings. Humidity is holding around 50+ and temp is been staying at 76

That should be fine, just watch the sprouts, if they start stretching out (getting long thin stems) then lower the light a bit but should be good for now.

Ok when you say stretching is that I want to watch for like a stem that looks limpy is that telling me to drop the light. I did clones for my first try and I did ok. But I decided to learn it by seed to harvest and its something that I got interested in during the lockdown and pandemic.

At 900 in the center what distance from the canopy are you ?
As always, great looking grow.

Yes, stretching is when the stem grows long and thin and can get limpy and fall over, don’t want that.
