Up there as in activity per time, not popularity for learning like gg journal. Just wanted to clarify that!

Up there as in user activity, not popularity for learning. Just wanted to clarify that! Entertaining to everyone maybe. Those that don’t know me, feel free to jump on board. Just starting to get interesting. Hopefully.

The FF trio gets the job done, used it for years (been a decade since I’ve used it though), only real downside to it is the regular flushes that need to be done every 3-4 weeks, that’s a problem (or at least a pain in the butt) for some growers.

I used to recommend it as it’s pretty simple and doesn’t cost too much and most growers can find it locally. These days I’d rather recommend Jacks 321, also very simple and costs even less and works great and no flushes needed. Can get a 4lb starter kit on ebay cheap which will last a long time

Sometimes you just get a runt, not much you can do, give it a chance and see if it grows out of it. The other plant has some variegation (differently colored parts on the leaves) going on that usually grow out of after a few leaf sets. Regardless, watch the over-watering, let the soil get dry between waterings. No spraying, misting, or daily watering.

The leaf tip burn would be concerning, did they show up after you started feeding or change of light maybe? Could have been too soon to feed if your soil mix has a good amount of FFOF in it. How far away is the light and what brand/model is it? Using both veg and bloom switched on or just veg?

Not even end of flower??

Don’t feel bad, I have 2 auto runts as well. Luck of the draw I guess. Bummer as each seed cost me $20 !

Not necessary even then, though I do go water only for a while before harvest but that’s different from a real flush where you have to pour many gallons of water through the pot.

Is there any reason at this point I couldn’t slide net up to trim interior?

I’ve never felt the need to move the net to trim but if you have nothing tied to the net, don’t see why you couldn’t.

Was just curious, can do it easily under net.

Hello @Hellraiser thanks for this thread. I’m 2/78ths of the way through it and I’ve been ignoring the temptation to comment on the older posts but this quote resonated with me. I get that autos solve some problems but it feels like playing tees too far forward to me.

Im enjoying your presentation and appreciate what you’re sharing. I’m sharing a link to my first and current grow if you care to check it out I’d be honored but no expectation.

Thanks again!

What kind of rolling tray type screen thing is that in the picture where that funky funk is grinded up on it.

Yeah, I also have a droopy Betty, thankfully she’s finally starting to pick up. Thanks for all the useful tips :+1:

I use a shop vac to empty out run-off trays. Then I just dump the runoff on my grass.

Yeah not a fan of autos, the biggest reason being that you can’t clone them (you technically can but it’d be pointless as they can’t be kept in veg). I’m all about cloning and keeping a stable of the absolute best specimens that I come across that I can re-grow anytime I want.

Will check out our journal.
