Hellraiser grows Gorilla Glue and other stuff

I would like to ask your advice about my 10x10 tent that I’m getting ready to set up. It’s very obvious that you know a lot about indoor growing. I have grown outdoors for 21 years well my whole adult life. But I don’t know a damn thing about indoor growing. Would 5 Tmlapy 3000w led sunlike (260 true watts) and 2 1000w Hps lights turn out good yield or do I need more or different lights. I really appreciate any advice that you can give me. This is my first time ever attempting to grow indoors .

Not uncommon for 8 week plants to take longer than advertised and make sure to check trichs on the calyx and not a bud leaf which go amber first as @Chasfitter said.

It would work as you’re throwing plenty of watts at it, should get a decent yield, can always do better with better lights but work with what you got and see if it’s producing satisfactory yields for you. If not, can always get more or better lights.

@Hellraiser Here we go, 7 days out of the ground. What do you think? Anything of concern? First grow here, excited but nervous. I’m going to start a grow journal I think, alright if I tag you?

Catching up to you all sorts of places. This one is an excellent place to hang out. I ordered my Jack’s from Esbenshades Garden Centers for $10 less than Amazon even after shipping. That included 24 oz of blossom booster.
I received the order in 4 or 5 days. You can pick up epsom salt at any store that has personal health care items.

Such a broad question.

I suggest reading this thread and then starting your own. There a dozens of variables.

My First thought is, is this your first grow?

first grow, i purchased 15 seeds (5 goriilla glue 5 blue dream 5 mk ultra) with about a 10x5ft space to operate.

The opportunities are endless.

You can grow a lot of weed in that space.

What’s your budget?

I use it at 1/4tsp per gallon every feeding for first 5 weeks, then I go to every other feeding. I feed at 0600 when lights come on every other day no matter what.

That’s a really tight budget for that space. You’re going to have decide if you want to go with LED lighting or HID. On top of other expenses…

On that budget, I’d start smaller than 10x5, and focus on 5x5. I’d find a used magnetic 1000w ballast and get bulbs and vented hood. Then I’d buy a 8 or 10 inch AC infinity fan and filter. And I’d paint the walls white or get some Mylar grow room liner. I’d go with soil, fabric pots, drain pans with risers and use Jack’s 321. But that’s just my $.02

With HID, make sure you vent to an attic or to another room. HIDs get warm

One more thought… ac infinity has a promo code “growcast” it’ll get you some money off their already fair prices

Looks good for 7 days, nice start. Yeah a journal would be good and detail your setup, medium, nutes, etc… makes it easier to give better advice when we know what you’ve been doing so far and what you’re working with.

NeoGroR already gave you a lot of great advice.

The most important piece of equipment is the light. Light is everything, light determines your possible yields and bud size and density. Light will be/should be the most expensive piece of grow gear.

A 10x5 area can get costly to equip with good lights, smaller areas cost less to equip, I’d consider starting smaller like Neo suggested and work up from there, begin with a 5x5 space and then setup the other area as veg/clones. Everyone eventually wants a veg and flower area so you turn over harvests every 2 months instead of 4 months.

To light up a 5x5 area in which you could grow 6 plants with good LED lights will really blow up your budget so may need to consider a 1000 watt HPS (good for 5x5) if you can deal with the heat and electricity use.
