Hellraiser grows Gorilla Glue and other stuff

Uhhh, your first grow was with awesome genetics if nothing else señor sticky, that’s absolute :fire: what strain and producer?

Stunning, seriously nice work - sadly I don’t have much experience making infused oil✌🏼

@Green707Thumb Thank you man! I got lucky with some bag seeds from a buddy. This shit looks so good i can’t wait to try it. 3/4 plants were the same strain so im hoping there’s a few more of the same in the har of seeds I have. So mad I didn’t clone one of them

So I’m still early on in this grow journal but I just noticed that on your cherry plant pic, the top leaves have a purple/yellow look. I’ve only grown one plant so far (turned out great. Northern lights auto) but my leaves never took on a different color. Did I harvest too early? Should the leaves turn some before harvest?

So you just hang the whole plant?

I’ve got a question for everyone. How do you determine when to begin the flush? You just see it’s week 7 or 8 and most of the trichromes are cloudy? Also I’ve been using tap water but DI water will remove nutrients alot quicker, should I use DI water for the flush? Can anyone link me to. A detailed late harvest routine I could mimic?

Leaf curl or clawing is too much nutes, nitrogen in this case, do water only for at least a couple waterings.

For plants of that size, I’d normally be doing 5ml of each of the A and B and half that of B52 per gal.

Even if I cut them down to a stump? Had a maintenance guy walk in and see my plants all bare after harvesting. Kinda panicked lol

It’s genetics, some strains turn colors toward harvest and some don’t. Also helps to go water only for last 2 or 3 weeks to bring out the harvest colors. Northern Lights are not normally a color changing strain.

No, too hard to get the whole plant out of the screen. I cut the branches off and hang them whole for about a week, then dry trim, then into tupperware to finish the slow dry and start the cure.

@Hellraiser all thanks to you good sir! Much appreciated!

I start the flush (not real flush, just going water only) when trichs are mostly cloudy and the buds are swollen. Yes, I would use DI or RO water for the flush.

I assume you don’t bother to pH it? Because you’re more worried about washing the soil and it’s probably better if there’s less nutrients getting absorbed?

Largest harvest ever in a 3x3.

I think I hit the magic 2 pound harvest (or real freaking close). The G3 plant was chopped 2 weeks ago, hung for a week, dry trimmed and put in tupperware to slow dry for another week. This morning it was at a perfect 62RH so I weighed it, then weighed it again to make sure.

That’s 7.74 ounces from 1 plant and she was the smallest plant. Dry trimming the other 3 plants this weekend that have been hanging since last Sunday.

Nope, no ph adjusting needed when flushing with DI or RO water, they don’t have enough dissolved solids in them to really hold a ph anyway so no need.
