It’s a hermie, can see the pollen already dropped on the leaf below. Sprayed the area down with some water to kill the pollen.
Next step is to get that plant out of there, which I will do later today, would be doing it right now if I didn’t have to work today (have to, skeleton crew at work this week). Already see a few pistils on the SK turning brownish so pollination has already occurred, just need to minimize the damage (seeds). I don’t see any other male sacks or nanners on that plant but if it grew one, must be others. Just hope it’s only the one Gelato plant, will take a real good look at the others once I pull this one out.
Bummer. I had this issue this run also with my cheese clones. Don’t leave far red light on over night 3 or more times it cause germs. I believe it happened right toward the end so it’s just fresh banners I don’t believe seeds chipped this am so will know if it’s seeded or not. Can def see the pollen on the leaves under yours.
I had a Gelato hermie on me too. Hopefully it was just that one spot and the pollen stayed to that plant mostly. Sorry man, that’s growing for ya tho. Happens to everyone like you said.
I’d say so as there are no light leaks or other environmental factors in that tent that would cause a plant to go hermie.
Makes me concerned about the Runtz that I was going to grow next - a cross of Gelato and Zkittlez, both of which has hermied on me. Will have to see if I find any more pollen sacs or nanners on the other Gelatos.
@Hellraiser sorry to see that . at least i dont feel like a looooser with mine now that i see it can happen to us all.
plus now i’ll have plenty seeds since i let them mature and let up on the clones for awhile .
Happy Growing
Last night looking over the super critical and saw this my heart sank so i bagged her hopefully whole tent isn’t lost and hopefully you can contain yours sorry Hell!
