I have a jewelers loupe. 2 of them actually . 30x and 60x but i just am having a very hard time determining whether they are cloudy clear or even amber i cant see . Can anyone suggest something that works to see them really well
I did just buy this off amazon has anonye had any.luck with these kind of things. This ine was only like 30 bucks

That should be fine to check trichomes. Remember your clear trichomes will look like glass, cloudy look like plastic and Amber look, well, Amber lol. Good luck and happy growing!!!

The key to using the scope is being able to stabilize it. Simply holding it by hand will not work. I bought this stand to use with my Pluggable USB2 scope I attach to my laptop.
I can also attach the scope to a standard camera tripod. Others have modified microphone stands to hold them. What works depends on the scope.
I take a lot of trichome pictures. Just an example
At high magnification and short distances you loose depth of field. But you can zero in

Don’t be like me and forget that the lens gets coated with resin from touching the buds. I couldn’t see anything clearly until I took some alcohol and cleaned my loupe.

Awesome thanks alot peeps yoiu guys are always on top of answering questions. This website has helped me alot thru my last two grows . I absolutely love growing . It is somtimes stressfull annoying and inconvenient at times when im busy. But still its so fun . Im really starting to get the hang of it . Hopeully this micro scope works a little better

My experience with thos are they’re supposed to be wireless by downloading max-see, but I’ve never been able o get it to work. Have to plug it in to a laptop which is kind of a pain. Wireless would be great.
