Harvesting time

@Pat2 thank you so much for your kind and prompt reply and also thanks, you reduced my upset.

My worker has been irrigating today of ignorance. I told him not to irrigate to i come. Do I have to wait a week after this irrigation?! Now, if it’s time to harvest, what should I do?

These look definitely ready to harvest, or super close. I would do it sooner, than later. Because the longer you wait, the more seeds you may end up with. You know your plant is at least somewhat ripe, due to all the pistils being brown and having receded a bit. Just my 2 cents.

@Aolelon Thank you for your guide.

My problem is that my worker has been irrigating today of ignorance. I said to him, “Do not irrigate until I go there.” But he has irrigated. My whole are very large and each one gets 50 liters of water . Do I have to wait a week after this irrigation for harvest?! Or can I harvest in next two days?
Now, if it’s time to harvest, what should I do?

Go back and read the two articles that @Countryboyjvd1971 , sent you. I agree with @Aolelon , It’s time to chop all of them , NOW !! Or loose more to seed.

So by irrigate, you just mean he watered them correct? I dont see anything wrong with harvesting after they got watered.

I had heard that for harvesting, must pass a week after the last water. So that’s not right, and I can pick them up whenever I want

So you fed them correct? Some people flush some do not. In my opinion you need to weigh your options.
Option 1 wait and harvest in a week or so, but risk allowing more of your buds to seed, you may be able to try to find the pollen sacs and remove them but at this point I think it’s a little late.
Option 2 is harvest now and salvage what you can. But you did just run irrigation like you said, so flushing wouldnt be able to happen, if in fact that’s what you mean. I think if you dry and cure properly you should be fine.
That’s just my 2 cents.

@Mazoo
Chop them down its fine even if you just watered they may take a day ot two longer to dry is all that will happen the reason they suggest waiting a week after watering is so the plant is not full of moisture but in your case i feel @Aolelon advice is solid

@Mazoo…I am growing in an enclosed indoor tent. No males allowed. No outside contamination possible.
However, I have found 5 fully developed seeds. They look normal…but…never germinate/hatch.

HOWEVER…Check your plants daily. Once a seed pod gets fertilized…the white pistil turns red and dries up…OR…they turn red and dry up after several weeks and not being fertilized.

1—if you pick out the seeded sections…the rest will grow normally.

2—if there are more than a few seeded say…20% of the cola…pick those colas immediately.

3—you said there are other plants are NOT SEEDED. Let those grow.

4—if you see lots of seeded sections…you could try to dip in hydrogen peroxide solution to
wash any possible pollen off before the whole plant is seeded. Just a quick soak and rinse
will do a good job of cleaning.

This is one of the big negatives about outdoor growing. Everything is open to exposure and seeding.
Best Wishes

Females can make false seeds, but also its not uncommon to find a couple seeds in a harvest of females. I found one from my SLH that I harvested. planted it and out popped a female. So I am wondering if it pollinated itself

Thanks of all friends for your guides and helps.

Is the jewelry loop better or a jewelry microscope or a digital microscope? How x is better? And Which is enough and good for this?
I’m going to buy it now. I would appreciate if you answer it soon

Usually around 60x is good, I like the jewelers loupe, you can get ones that attach to phone as well… really anything with 60x magnification is good.

The higher the mag the better look youll get
But from my experience you get a smaller window still more is better
A digital scope works great as well if you wish to spend a few extra bucks
Good luck @Mazoo enjoy the views lol

My drying room temperature is about 27, 28 degrees at noon and about 30 percent humidity. Of course I measure it accurately and say it until noon.
Can I use a cool mist humidifier with this condition? ? Or should I use warm mist humidifier?
@Countryboyjvd1971

@Aolelon

Do not put a humidifier in drying room
Just watch the buds and when the buds snap off main stem put in jars
With low humidity they will dry a little faster the normally is all
Never use a humidifier in a drying room you can mold up your whole harvest
