First compost tea, foliar feed happening tomorrow. 1 cup of homemade compost, 1 cup worm castings 1 tsp. Epsom salt and 1/2 tbls. Fish fertilizer. Hopefully they enjoy.

It works really well for me. It intakes the nutrients through the leaves. As far as scientifically, got me. But it really makes a diffrence in my opinion. Sorry thats not much help, but it works.

@Happyday420 just thought id ask. I worry about pm so much i probably won’t try it and if i do I’ll do it in the dry part of the summer. I wonder if foilar spraying prevents pm with its healthy microbes

If you added Yucca Wet to your foliar feed it make the water absorb into the leaves 100% better than without.it softens the waxy surface so the water doesn’t bead up and run off. It also helps fight disease. And it won’t leave spots either. @Budbrother turned me onto it and it literally makes water wetter. I’m using it every time I water/feed

Depends what you spray. EM, Compost or EWC teas, then, yes. It helps to populate the leaves with beneficials making it hard for WPM to get a foot hold.
Foliars stop shortly after transition. This would be more of a prevention use and not helpful against botrytis.

The fish emulsion is great I will have to take pictures of the other stuff I use it’s cheap also and you can buy it at any ace hardware store I think it’s called mother earth but they have a root booster and grow and flower nutrients I bought all parts for like 30 bucks and it lasts the whole season

@Superkurt420 so I’m looking into getting fish emulsion for my compost tea for a nitrogen boost. Any recommendations on how much to use per 5 gallons of water? The directions on the emulsion call for i think 1tbl spoon per gallon if i just mix it and use it. Just not sure if the amount changes when i brew/ bubble it
