Gypsy's Towers Of Flowers II

@CygnusX1 @Low I’m not waiting for a tail either. I put the last grow’s seed in as soon as I saw the tap root start to peek out. Honestly I think it’s all a bit too much. I plant a jungle of a vegetable garden every year from seed…those bitche$ get thrown in to the dirt and splashed with some garden hose water that smells like a swimming pool, and grow to the point that I have to cull 50% or more. I end up with so many veggies I can’t give them all away.

Absolutely, I don’t go crazy either, no heat mats, etc… BUT, these are also a little different from a per seed cost perspective so I don’t “completely” throw caution to the wind. :sunglasses:

I hear that @CygnusX1 about $10 a pop or more. I just got so much other stuff to worry about, I try not to make my grow one of those things. It’s supposed to be relaxing and therapeutic. Lol … Well It definitely is in the end. :v::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Seed started to open early this morning. I had my soil pre-heating for last 2 days. Temperature is between 81 and 82 degrees. Plopped the seed in her final home this morning. Little less than a knuckle deep and made sure there was no little pieces of wood or mini logs in her vicinity. Misted inside her temporary dome and covered her up. Should see a seedling by Tuesday morning.:v::v:

THC my first grow since 1978 when I had a monster 12 footer. (Things Have Changed) sure was a lot less complicated back then . Just throw some seeds in the ground and hope for the best. Now with this wonderful forum with all the helpful growers and their advice the final product should be much more potent and tastier.

DAY 1
We have a seedling!!!, Earlier than expected!!!
I’m naming her Eve!!

I decided since I have a bunch of 2+ year old seeds, I may as well have some fun with them before they expire.

I started a solo cup grow.

Naming her Maggie. Her entire life will be spent in this solo cup.

Day 2
Eve is coming to life.( bad pic sorry)Her coyts are a little yellow on the tips but her first set of serrated leaves are coming in and looking good.

Maggie hasn’t made her appearance yet but she wasn’t soaked in water Just dropped her in the solo cup with the same Ocean Forest mix as Eve and a little water. Maybe see her tomorrow.

I did a slurry test on the 5:1 Ocean Forest:Perlite mix

TDS 1255ppm
Ph 6.1

It would not surprise me to see the TDS shoot up to 4000ppm by the time I am watering to runoff with Eve. It’s Ocean Forest., it’s naturally hot and a little unpredictable. But we gonna make it work.

HAPPY GIRLS :v::blush::v:

Little update on lighting
I have an HLG 135rspec probably at about 50% hanging 24" above the girls. Right now they’re getting a DLI around 45. That’s running 24/7.
When she starts making some solar panels (big fan leaves) the DLI will get bumped up and I’ll switch to 18 on 6 off light scheudle.
