“When growing in a tent would you have to have a bigger outtake fan than intake fan?”

No it well create a nigative air pressure in the tent and suck in the sides. If any thing the other would be better I think.
@Wishingilivedina420state @ILGM.Becky
I’m using a room not a tent but positive pressure in the grow space helps keep mold, fungus, pollen and insects out
Yes you want to keep tent in a negative pressure to control smells mostly but also to keep good air exchange going
Your tent walls should be pulled in slightly if you have a good balance between exhaust and intake fans
Imo as a Commercial HVAC guy
I do agreee with @hillbilly103 on pressurizing a soilid room to keep contaminants out
But your intake should be filtered either way whether in a room or tent regardless
It will be easier to control humidity and temps in a tent under negative pressure
@Countryboyjvd1971
My air intake fits a 20x20x1 AC HEPA filter
Intake at the bottom on one side exhaust near top on the far end
And I have two 8" fans on speed controllers intake runs 500 rpm faster than exhaust
Plus I’ve got a 16" oscillating fan in the room
Again positive pressure in your set up is a good thing bro since your growing in a room @hillbilly103
And hepa filter is the way to go Good stuff brother
Hey @Countryboyjvd1971 morning bud your a HVAC guy ? Is this going to be a problem for anything you can think of ? Am I asking for a couple of problems if I drop a section of this
From the regulator directly over my tent in this picture and into the tube access in the bottom of the tent ? Can a pro ac guy see issue’s here ?
@Oldstoner
That is your LED lights make that awesome shade of pink, right?
No you should be able to direct enough air into tent that way for sure but it will only supply air when house fan is running room itself may get a bit warmer
Second look you have multiple vents in room so room temp should stay good as well
Do you recycle your air or exhaust out of the room /house
But should help deliver cool air to tent
I My self cool my grow room and let my intake pull cool air in I’m also in a basement with a sectioned off area so it’s a bit easier for me to maintain temps @Oldstoner
Thanks for the fast reply @Countryboyjvd1971 yeah man I got my house from a retired col. That had it built there is 2 heat pumps 2 air handlers and actually another vent in that room and 2 in the attached bathroom he even had a vent put in the closet to keep clothing from getting musty . He told me he was in a tank in Iraq about to melt and swore once he got home he was never going to be that hot again .
My main problem is 4 lights and 2100 watts in a 4x4 tent so whenever I close it the temp jumps I might just have to bite the bullet and get a 6" exhaust and carbon filter but if this wprks I am fine with it to
@hillbilly103 partly that is my daughters old room and is still pink also . I turned the basement into a little apartment for her and moved my grow to her old room . Lol
@Oldstoner both my girls had pink rooms when they were young but by the time they got to be teenagers their rooms walls looked like some kind of display at com a con they painted pictures from ceiling to floor.
Now their plain eggshell white
Mine kid had a unique childhood @hillbilly103 she has never been protected from the happy or the crappy parts so whatever life is she has a open eyed view of the world as I’m sure yours do . She was at her 1st Tattoo convention at 13 and her 18th birthday present from Daddy was her first ink . So she had made the full circle of emo to punk and then hard metal and the room decor followed now at 23 she is back to liking girly things ( Finally )
@Oldstoner
I hear ya about raising them to see the world as it truly is. Not the indoctrinated propaganda pushed by the school system and government.
My oldest has a Masters from UVA in business and economics, she’s an executive for DISH and my youngest just graduated valedictorian from high school and starts Columbia University in the fall
Couple more months and the wife and I will be empty nesters!
