I have cut off two small branches from a flowering plant. I was going to toss them, but instead, I put them in a glass of water. Now they are doing very well. My question is, to get them to grom and produce, should I keep them in water till I see ‘hair roots’ then plant them in soil, or should I out them in soil right now. They have been in water for a week, and no ‘hair roots’ are showing. TYIA… scott

Place them in damp soil. The roots need a small amount of air to grow.
Cover with a clear cup and place under a light.
Mine will normally be rooted enough to treat like normal plants after 10 days.

Goodmorning Growmies i started with just going into the soil. Ive learned to clip the leaves, your looking for root growth now not foliage. Low light helps also, I treat mine like seedlings.
They Start on the left in the dome then into soil.
