Mine mix is from scratch. All organic no commercial soils.
Will this burn new seedlings?
Depends on what you put in there and if you have “cooked” it(waited at least 2 weeks for some of the harsher notes to break down).
I make a super/Living soil and I start baby plants in Fox Farms Happy Frog to be safe.
Thanks AAA. MY SOIL BASE IS WORM CASTINGS PERLITE AND COCO COIR. EQUAL PARTS.

I read that worm castings are good. Has all the plant needs. Is that true
@Ginny I’m just now working on a new approach with the help of @Budbrother. He is a better person to guide you.
Worm castings are great but not enough nutrients to support an entire grow by itself without supplements and teas
Hello. I made my own super soil. But I did not add the correct ratios of nutrients.
I just put in a little of this and a little of that. I know that sounds bad. My question is can I just buy more worm casting and dilute the nutrients in my first batch.
I mixed the base soil with equal parts of perlite and worm castings and coco coir. It made about 40 gallons of soil. I then added all of the best organic nutrients. I’m just afraid the soil is too nutrient dense and will burn my plants.
