Running the boards vertically would help with getting more room in the tent beside having some place to place the fans. I think I’ll be adding some today. I just measured I’m losing 4” on each side of the tent from it being sucked in from the filter fan.
Make sure before you put them in the tent wipe them down just to get any dirt that’s been on them sitting in the warehouse or wherever you’re getting them from so it doesn’t do harm to your garden they are only $2.30 or so depending on where you live and 8 ft long

I was thinking about sanding them and painting them flat white for better reflection
Yeah you could probably go to that extent if you wanted probably wouldn’t hurt
I know its an old post, but I built this 1x4 PVC rack. On backside is a strip of PVC lattice, just long enough to slip behind poles to keep from tipping over. Great for clip on or just setting things on it. Any info or other crafty ideas anyone would like, penne know. I’m a custom carpenter so have lots of ideas. Just depends on space size.
Going to do same thing for my new 2x4 cloud lab, but on a larger scale @perry2. Also I route all edges so not to have chance of ripping into tent. @Covertgrower
