I haven’t grown in coco, so I could only guess. Let’s see if one of the others have a good suggestion, if not I’ll do my best to help.
What’s your PPM of runoff and feed?
@WickedAle 444 ppm feed today, runoff ranged between 245-527ppm.
Think about increasing the strength. Needs more buffering capacity to hold the pH. You are currently running 1/4 -1/2?
@dbrn32 @MattyBear I love these lights! Thank you for your advice!
Sweet! I would also agree your ppm seem low
@WickedAle based on the runoff ppms, how much do you think I should bump it up?
Are you running 1/4 or 1/2 now? From the higher 527 number with your 444 feed it does suggest some build up, but you may be able to get by at 3/4 to full. So output is closer to 1100-1200.
All is well with the girls. I doubled the Canna A & B, and that brought me up in the low 800 ppms. I’m slowly increasing. Very minute tip burn on the Maui Wowie, barely noticeable. Still giving them Armour Si and Roots Excellerator as well. The only one stretching a little is the Chocolope, the rest are dense, thick, stout bushes. Gotta be the lights, they dont need to stretch lol. I beat them up a bit today, super cropped, trimmed and LST’d the Chocolope and Maui Wowie. Did the Super Lemon Haze yesterday. I think I’m going to evaluate them next week and start thinking about flipping to flower. What do you all think?
Roots excelerator not really needed at this stage. Remember sativa is more leggy and indica more bushy. Probably stretch is nature of genetics. Plants look great.
I just passed the 8 week mark from seed. They are getting 10L a day. 10ml Armour Si, 40ml Canna A and 40 ml Canna B. 932 ppm, 5.8 ph. They are really going great, I’m happy happy!! Everything caught up with the Maui Wowie, but it has the fattest stalk. Beefy structure for sure.
Monsters. When are you going to flip? They are going to get 2-3x larger and will fill that tent! Might think about a major trim when you do.
I think they are about ready, maybe this weekend?
Flipped them today. They’ve really blown up over the past few days. Chocolope is getting strapped down before it gets any more out of control.
I’m about out of room. I had to lower the grate the Chocolope is on, so it’s more even with the rest. So far so good.
You are going to have a jungle after the stretch! Nice bushes.
I know! Between these lights and the Canna, they are really thriving. I trim them and they look like hell, the next day it looks like I didnt touch them. They are happy.
I am starting chocolope I have 2 seedlings now any advice on how to successfully grow it ?
@wildride420 it doesnt seem too picky, if you have a grow routine down for other strains I’m sure itll work for Chocolope. The main thing is, it is a stretcher. It wants to go tall, so top it more than you would others and strap it down lol.
Top it. You mean guy off the top so it bushes out ? Instead of growing y’all ?
