Grow #5: Autopots, DLI, and coco! Let's gooooo! G13, Black Truffle, and Nag Champa

Did you shave the sides? It doesn’t look like they are coming out of the sides. But I am like @Mark0427 I try to make sure I have a few roots coming out. Normally takes me about 10 days from when I start. You are off to a good start there :+1: I just pre the new clone and shove it into some promix and wait. @Myfriendis410 showed me that and it has worked great for me :slightly_smiling_face:

I didn’t know about shaving the sides! Should I still wait on the 2 that have roots?

I would til u jad a nice cluster. Couple more days on the longer rooted ones. More on the pthers. They jave a better establisment of roots and usually dont blind a wi k while transplanting them.

Those are good enough I would plant them now. When I do a clone. first thing I do is take a razor blade. Cut the bottom of the stem at a 45 degree angle. Then scrape about 2" off the sides of the stem by the 45 you cut. Kind of like removing a layer from an onion. So gently. I then put a little clone x on it. And shove it into a cup with pro mix. I only use coco to grow. @Myfriendis410 has used soil. But showed me this way. I then cut the tips off all the leaves. feed to run off and put it under a light. There are lots of videos that show how. And other ways to do them. I will add. When I use the clone king. I still add the clonex personally. And I add some tribus to the rez. I use that for all my seedlings.

Sour Cherry Gary clones week 1 veg. Just reported the 2 that survived. Not mad for my first try! They’re looking a bit light so I turned the lights down a bit.

A few seem to be decent a few seem to be struggling… had a tragic family loss so I honestly havnt given them the care they need. Worst case I’ll re-veg after harvest but that will take time. I need to get a cloner…

I’m so sorry for your loss :pensive:

I bought this little bud to learn cloning and it did just fine. I believe they also have a 14 site version. And made in southern Illinois!
