I’m sorry, I’m not understanding the question. I did know there were multiple ways.
Do you want to dim one driver at a time, one light at a time, or all of them at the same time?
I want to dim one light at a time. I want to be able to adjust my intensity.
My drivers are HLG-320H-C1490A
TWO drivers per light.
50k ohm potentiometer with both drivers connected to pot in parallel should do this.
Which side of driver
Input (AC)
Output (DC)
I assume the output, but assumptions have gotten me in trouble before.
You know, I should have caught it earlier when you posted driver numbers but those aren’t externally dimmable. You need to use the pot on driver to dim them.
Does that mean input side?
No, it means the only way you can dim your drivers is using the dimmers that are already on the driver.
There’ll be a small rubber plug on your driver. Remove the plug and there is a small screw inside to adjust the intensity
I thought my drivers didn’t have dimmers. While this stuff seems common and easy to you, it’s all Greek to me. You have no idea how much i appreciate your help.
AI says my model is NON-DIMMABLE.
HLG said my drivers don’t dim. I guess I’ll have to manage my canopy better.
Non dimmable in this case means not externally dimmable. Like AfgVet said, remove black rubber plug on top and use #1 Phillips inside. Right= up left= down.
Heck yeah. Looking good over there regardless of the light issues bugging ya!
Just saying, you is a looking BAss to me
@dbrn32 @AfgVet Believe it or not, you two youngins were ABSOLUTELY correct. Pulled the plugs, turned the screws, lights dimmed perfectly. Thank yall so much.
I’m wondering why they say it’s not dimmable. I’ll bet their dimmable model has a knob instead of a rubber plug.
Anyhow, thank you guys so much for the help.
I like those scrog nets you built. I might need to adapt that idea for myself. Sure hope you don’t mind grow buddy.
Real simple. I did NOT glue anything so that i could easily take it apart. Screws every 4inches to wrap string around.
I seen that, seems to be an easy way to customize a scrog net to any space or size.
Definitely will use it in the future. I have the supplies laying around the house to make a few to fit my tents.
Thanks again.
