Fast little buggers, all 6 are up! I had the dimmer turned all the way down to be gentle on them, but I moved it up a tiny bit because it looks like they were stretching already. PAR at their height is between 200 and 225 now. I think they should be happy there for a little while.

Are you using something to measure the par or just going by mfg information?
I got a Quantum PAR meter. My local grow store is great, he beats Amazons prices all the time. It’s an inexpensive one compared to some I was looking at online, but it seems to be fairly accurate based on the manufacturers specs on my lights.

Hey Hellraiser, I checked out the AN connoisseur line, and I really love the idea of it balancing the pH for you. Do you use it every time you water, every other time, or just once a week? I’m not going to switch the other grows I have going on in the middle, I’ll finish them with Fox Farm, but I’m going to use it for sure on my new run, although that one isn’t going to need nutes for a little while.
@Cap_Ron, I’ve gone back and forth on ferting every watering and every other watering, either works fine, but I’m currently into ferting every watering (at 1/4 the weekly dosage), think the plants like that better, constant level of nutrition and all, but I still throw in a just a water only now and then if I see the girls getting a little “too green”. I’ve been very happy with it, though the “ph perfect” is perfect ph for hydro and coco (5.6-5.8), I ph to 6.5 for soil.

Also after watching Dr Bruce Bugbee many times, who researches marijuana/hemp growing, says fastest growth occurs with constant feed at 1.3EC (650 ppm), which is what I aim for with the 1/4 dosage and extra supplements, I use the whole line for grand master level (bloom), except the Bud Factor X as it’s been banned for being a pesticide or something but still shows up in their nutrient calculator on their website.

I love that guy, lol. I’m glad the timing worked out well for me on this one, I’m looking forward to trying this stuff out. I don’t think I’ll be feeding much in veg at all, and with auto’s veg is over so quickly. Do you think it would pay to have the veg formulas anyway, just in case?

Yes, I’d feed in small amounts in grow and the voodoo juice (root growth stimulator) and B52 (B vitamins) really help plants take off.

Little update, the grow is now just the two ILGM Gorilla Glue autos and the two Fast Buds Gorilla Glue autos. The two NYC Diesels from Expert Seeds did not know they were supposed to be experts, lol. I’m really not sure what the hell happened to them. They never grew beyond an inch or two, and they seemed to dry up and get shiny. I didn’t want them anywhere near the healthy plants, so I tossed them. Oh well, at least it eaves me more room in the tent to train the Gorilla Glues as wide as I can. I probably should have started bending them already, but I’ve been tied up with the bigger grows. I’ll get to it over the weekend. I have the PAR up to just over 600 and it looks like they’re enjoying it. Sunday will be the last day of week # 2.

So the 4 girls are doing great. I had to move them, and they have a few new roommates for a little while. I needed the 2 x 4 for drying my Zkittlez and Super Skunks, so these girls are in the 2 1/2 x 5 now. There’s also an Extreme Impact auto and a GDP x Gumberry in there as well because my closet got too crowded again, lol. There’s also 4 Strawberry Cheesecake autos in there as well, but they’re an experiment I’m doing with 1 gallon pots and just single cola plants. They’re doing much better than I thought they would in such tiny pots. The little seedlings in solo cups are some photo periods I’m starting for a friend who grows outdoors. Oh yeah, and because I have some space opening up in a few days when I harvest my Expert Gorilla autos, I started soaking some Fast & Vast auto seeds this afternoon. I guess I’ll never learn my lesson on being patient, lol.

Quick update on the 4 Gorilla Glues. I didn’t do very much in the way of training on these girls, time just got away from me and they grew so fast. I tied down a few branches here and there but that’s about it. No topping, super cropping, or even bending over the main tops. They were too rigid already when I finally got to them. It’s ok, there will be plenty of training on the next run, which should be above ground in a day or two! So here they are, 2 from ILGM and 2 from Fast Buds.
