Gorilla Glue times 2

nice buttons! plants look good, but in the first, fifth, and seventh pic i see leaves pointing up. i’m not sure, but i think that means that the light might be too close. i’ll hollar at @MattyBear and see what he says.

I just got a new light and it’s a bit stronger than the previous. I’ll dim it down two clicks to see if that helps.

Plants are praying hard…good sign…can up the light a lil more…or drop down a lil…keep a close eye…you are close to saturation/sweet spot…if unsure, rather back off, these parameters will change daily if you are in stretch…stay on top of your feeding… high intensity LED lights will up your plants food intake…hope this helps…:v::sunglasses:

Alot of the time when introducing new light to close they will put the hands up to lessen the surface area available to the increased photon bombardment… they will adjust but they are not happy … a truly content plants leafs stick strait out parallel to the ground and are flat as paper … 0 ridges dimples frills twists flat flat paper is true happiness

Hey Philly and @monkman @merlin44 @GREANDAL @Gremmall @MattyBear @fano_man @Arrow do the bóveda packs make the weed taste like hay? Like actual grass from the front lawn grass?

They recommend keeping a barrier between the bud and boveda… like a c vault has a lil pocket to put the bovada in… I’ve heard if ppl reporting funny taste from the salt transfering through the pack via direct contact

I put a piece of tape on the underside of the lid and suspend it from there. I try to keep it from making contact with my harvest.

Cannabis, when harvested too early tastes like grass clippings and camp fire smoke.

I’ve had no issues from the humidity packs so far other than the cheaper brand names not being as good as the Boveda brand.

Hmmm, not sure but I had about 10 small jars with too dry weed, all 10 different strains, all with different taste/smell profiles. A friend gave me 10 bóveda 62% bags. I put 1 in each container and after 1 day, they all tasted the same. I had a coupla buddies try it too- yup, they all said. Tastes just like hay.

Damn, I use integra with no issues. Packs touch my bud.

The price and pain in the a$$ it adds isn’t worth it to me. I’m going old skool and hippy dippy method this coming harvest. I got plenty of hydrometers to throw into the jars and all the time in the world to watch the magic happen.

So for me, I’m skipping that step next time all together.

Yeah the packs touched my bud too. They came from an original sealed bag and seemed very fresh. I bought some more, but haven’t even wanted to try them yet. I’m still vaping down that hay-tasting stuff, and I just can’t handle any more. Probably why my next grow will be 5 Blueberry autos. I need some flavor. Sounds like so far my experience was unique.

I have heard others having issues with boveda though. Why I chose integra. Hope the blueberry brings the flavor for ya

Yeah you’re getting close to harvest!

Thanks man.:facepunch:t4: I just dropped the seeds, so I’ll know in a coupla months. I have looked at the Integra. I’ll have to give those a try.

The ones I bought were Onorok humidity packs.

Right- it sounds like you didn’t like the Onorok brand, or find the Bóveda worth the time/money, yes?

The hay like smell is normal off gassing. These are compounds like chlorophyll making their way out with the moisture. Too early for Boveda yet.

Yeani think bovada are more to be added in the middle of cure when your total moisture gets low …you dont want total moisture below 50% or curing will cease at that point… to me I’d use them for a couple days and remove after the half way point… try and get there naturally but if things start to get away I’d throw a boveda in… or a orange peel or a peice if lettuce that’s what I do I never used a boveda but I here mixed reviews

i am sorry, but i might disagree with half your responses regarding boveda’s. i use them to keep my pot 62% rh! i could be wrong, but i have been smoking for 50 years, i do not use them to cure pot, i use them to keep my pot at premium smoking.situatiion but that is just me, other’s have their own perspective.
