Gorilla Glue Looking Awful

I also use (MKP)during the first 3 weeks of flower.
I use jacks 321 and change it up to jacks 222 with 1.2 g per gallon of (mkp)
Then after 3 weeks back to jacks 321 .

Do you think it could be some light burn I did the hand test and it doesn’t feel that hot at the top of my plant and the weird thing is that it’s just the middle of the plant the outside colas are doing great and are still green?

Usually if it’s light burn it just affect the top colas, and in your situation it is the whole plant that is affected.
What type of ph pen are you using?
Honestly I had the same situation when I first started growing and it was PH lock out.
I have a feeling that plant for what ever reason did not like ph higher than 6.0 and that extra 2.0 did the damage.
Make sure your ph pen is 100% accurate.
One thing I will recommend is a good ph meter, you do not want to scimp on lights and ph pen, everything else can be second hand.

I’ve invested in a Apera PH tester and check calibration weekly. Just the top middle of the plant is doing this the outside colas look healthy, and are green other then a few yellow leaves.

Appreciate the tag Brother. @Budbryan do you check the res and auto trays ph daily? The res PH can drift considerably, I only mix 2-3 gallons at a time for this reason and I use wave makers to keep it circulating inside. Pick the pot up and collect a sample of what runs out and test the PH and PPMs before flushing. If a flush is needed pull her and flush with water at 5.8 and keep checking the numbers with each gallon used to flush. Follow the flush with a 100% feeding at 5.8 to 20% run off. I would also drain the tray if the numbers were bad from the test above :love_you_gesture:

Thanks that is some good info. I will definitely try this, I would hate to lose her this far in the game. She should be a big yielder if I can get this under control. I have been mixing 10 gallons in my res. At a time, the only problem I’ve had is that the ph down I was using made the water smell nasty, and had slime build up, but since I changed ph down that hasent been an issue. I will get on this and try to save what I can of her i appreciate all the help from all of you this is the first time on the forum , and it’s been so informative and helpful thanks to all.

@OGIncognito when you flush in autopots and like this situation let’s say 1 plant out 4 is sick and need to flush do you pull the one plant out and top water/feed to flush her out??

Exactly that Brother, just pull the pot from the tray :love_you_gesture:

That’s what I figured but being bottom fed for so long was wondering if that would affect them at all.
Good stuff.

Did you say you top feed the plant in an autopot?

Once autopots are turned on, should never ever pour anything in the top from that point, especially if pushing high ppm/ec.
Nutrients wicks from bottom and lots of salts build up in the top few inches of medium and anything put in the top will wash all that salt into the root zone and cause all kinds of problems.

Only thing you can do as suggested already is to remove from tray and just fush it till you have super low tds coming out the bottom.
At that point you can place it back in the tray or you can give it a soild feeding once before putting in in the tray.
But you don’t have to hand water it after the flush.
Just reset it with a good flush, put it back in the tray and no more top feeding

If you’re haveing trouble with an icky reservoir you can add h2o2 to help with that.

I have over 20 autopots and 6 different reservoirs and I run h2o2 in everone, i grow in coco/perlite aswell.

Well said Grow Bro! I think my auto pot count is up to 14 now but DIY’d my reservoirs using a 5 gallon bucket after purchasing the 1st one :love_you_gesture:

So I’ve never had to actually flush one that’s been in an autopot before, but I’ve read about others and theres really only one way to flush growing medium that I know of and that’s literally wash it out by putting plain water through it till the tds is say under 200.

When I have flushed plants in the past with soil grows.
Its all about the tds ppms of the run off.

Lets say it’s 1500ppm, I’ll start pouring water in and after a gallon I’ll check ppms. Lets say they have droped some but still over 1000ppm, I’ll pour that runoff out and pour another gallon or 2 of water through the pot, then test that runoff, ppm should have dropped more then the last reading, then pour that out and some more through the pot and test ppm, just keep repeating till runoff is super low, the lower the better.

Once the tds is super low, its basically a fresh start from there…

So when doing this method you would water from the top correct??
