Golgi apparatus

Just put it all in a crockpot with some butter and make canna butter? That’s probably what I would do, I know I’ve seen a recipie for the crockpot method

LOL, yeah trimming is the worst part of growing. Congrats on the harvest!

thank you sir. We appreciate all your help. Burping 30+ half gallon jars isn’t awesome either. Next time I may go with buckets or Tupperware.

@Hellraiser is it ok to use a hand mixer with the bubble bags or should i use a big wooden spoon. I have tons of trim and popcorn nugs. I thought about getting a press but they are kinda pricey. I think i used a mixer last time but that was 8 years ago.

I used to use a big wooden spoon with the bubblebags, now I just use a small washing machine, saves a lot of work.

The bubblebagdude talks about using a mixer on his site:

i just bought the bags. I need the exercise.

Oh yea forgot to mention i found a couple maybe 4 or 5 underdeveloped seeds while trimming. Does this mean my tents and space are pollenated?

You had a late stage mild hermie, probably had a plant that grew a male flower or 2 near the end, as long as there aren’t a lot of seeds, no big deal. Pollen isn’t viable for long in a tent environment, not likely for any lingering pollen to pollinate the next group you put in there.

I do a pretty good cleaning between grows that would eliminate any pollen anyway, spraying and wiping all inner tent surfaces with a water and bleach mix and cleaning the fans. I like a clean tent.

We have seen maybe 5 underdeveloped seeds out of all of this. I plan on doing a good cleaning as well. The 4x4 is actually broke down and stowed for now(good times) and the 4x8 has turned into a giant tarped mystery storage box pushed out of the way in the garage as we are having maintenance people in here and i don’t want it looking Dr Frankenstein’s medical cannabis lab.

thanks for the great input!

welp. the wife and her friend come in walk through the house then her friend proceeds to tell me how her entire crop got pollinated by a herm and she just discovered it today. I am super pissed off right now. Made the wife strip down and shower and her friend is gone but the wife thinks i am over exaggerating on the severity of the situation. I dont have any plants in flower right now just the 7 small ones up stairs in the tent. SHe didnt go in the grow area downstairs either.

How worried should I be that some pollen could have hitchhiked in. And what precautions should my wife take. @Covertgrower @Hellraiser @Arrow

Also what should the friend do to sanitize her home and grow?

You have no plants in flower, so you should be fine, it’ll settle. Your wife’s friend should apply hydrogen peroxide to her grow area, and wipe everything.
I wouldn’t be concerned about pollen as much as I would be pests.

Welp this grow is in the books.
I never would have been able to do it without the gracious sharing of knowledge and guidance I received on this site.
This is what remains of what i have jared. a little over 3 lbs. a few jars not shown as they are put up. the This also does not include the two plants I chopped early which was about 11 ozs. A large amount has also gone to friends and people in need and is not pictured. I also have about 10 ounces of smaller popcorn or Nickle sized buds that i have bagged to make hash out of and edibles… That bag kept getting bigger the more i trimmed … i must have said crap and ut-oh a thousand time then just added it to the popcorn pile.
oh and half a large paper grocery bag full of trim and larfy buds… all in all i say close to 5lbs give or take from the 12 plants. No more shady dealers with weed that comes from who knows where or $125 quarters from the dispensaries. (thats the cost in my state right now)
