GL's 1st Time Grow Journal

I looked at your plant and she looks fine. I can’t say if that’s normal or not. It hasn’t happened to me. I’ve had them yellow off and die. But not drop off when they are still green? @GreenLantern202 am I understanding that correctly?

Yup thats correct @bob31 i’ll take some pics of leaf loss tonight and post. I’m stumped as well, these are healthy green leaves other than that both plants appear to be doing well.
They need to hurry up though! As impaitent as i am this has been one of the most rewarding gardening experiences for me (avid garderner). Love learning new tricks… gotta keep the mind occupied

Thanks Brother! There are more than a few of us here! I’m a big football fan! I’m a Bengal’s transplant to Patriot land!

I’m with @bob31 I have no idea what could be causing that but it seems like that plant is looking good. Only other thing I could think of is, any chance of some kind of trauma from a pet or something? Sorry.

Quick Update on Plant #1 (LEMON HAZE)

I was doing some cleaning/watering and my arms were brushing up against the plant and I started to notice a pretty distinct lemony scent and within a few minutes the entire tent was filled with a zesty lemon fragrance :fearful:. This would make sense for one of my bag seeds to Lemon Haze because I’ve bought my fair share of Lemon Haze! One of my fav strains I couldn’t be any happier thats what this turned out to be esp since she’s produced 7 healthy clones! :slightly_smiling_face:

My humidity in the bigger tent is around 60% - 63% should I try to bring this down to 40% - 50% range? Could this also be the reason for my healthy leaf loss? I am also starting to see bottom leaves droop, die and fall off.

ILGM White Widow Auto Update

Still waiting for 50% amber in my flowering girls. I’ve also been battling high humidity and sometimes high temps. My second round of clones didn’t make it but the first round of clones are now also in flower with the exception of one which is now outside with the peppers and tomatoes.

WW Auto about 2 weeks from harvest

Bag seeds (one lemon haze, one unkown indica dominant) does anyone know if they are foxtailing due to high humidity/temps (RH high 60s / 85F)

Bag seed clones

Outdoor clone

Chopped down the WW Auto and “Lemon Haze” today. I had sampled both and they wereuch better than 80% of what Ive bought in the past. And with the ridiculous humidity and heat here It was getting harder to control temps in the room and tent so decided not to push my luck. I uprooted rinsed soil off and converted tent 1 to drying tent. Within a few hours they already look to be well on the way. Can’t wait to chop down unknown #2 and update with dry weight.

Look who’s excited its harvest day!!!

Very nice! @ktreez420 Did you scrog her? I also read somewhere keeping some leaves on while drying helps to keep buds from drying too fast. Is that true?
I was shocked when I got to the tent this morning and the buds had lost so much water and shrunk considerably. I’m gonna have to focus on getting the buds extra fat fro the next grows. I did start open sesame, beastie bloomz and cha ching a little later than suggested

No, no SCROG on this plant, but thank you dude!! And yea, after the first couple days you’ll see how much the buds shrink from losing the water weight. It’s why I try to get the dense buds from the start!

All happy tears here its more than I had pre-harvest and way more than I’ve ever bought! More impressive is how potent this is. I came here as a novice and best believe I am now a grower for life! :man_farmer:

Excuse my absence and not circling back. Here are the results from my first harvest… also pics of the second scrog attempt and outdoor clones before I had to bring them in due to the crazy weather… and they say climate change is a hoax

Didn’t weigh the final harvest cos that scale was pretty to look at but useless otherwise. I did get enough shake to make some pretty potent canna butter that went into the brownies.

Those tiny clones are now 2 weeks into flower. I’ll up[load pics tomorrow when they wake up.

UPDATE PICS Its about week 8 or 9 of flower, honestly with these clones I lost count of exactly how many days. Still seeing some clear tricomes on the sativas (pic with the ilgm root protector next to it) but the indica with the split stem is about 3 days or so from being done.

I think I have a cloning problem - took too many clones last round and was able to cram 4 plants into one 2 x 4 tent with HEAVY pruning. In the end, it helped to teach me more about how trimming/pruning helps promote bigger buds up to. I didn’t scrog this time because I knew it limited space I would be moving plants in and out to trim and LST as needed.
This is also my first attempt at splitting the stem 48-72 hours prior to harvest. I might try to push it to 4 or 5 days with the last 2 days being in 24 dark - I hear it helps to finish the plant with a bang!
