Started with miracle grow potting soil for roots. wen i got info that wat I started it with wasn’t good I switch asap to happy frog this past Monday Oct 9th. I been watering every other day wen soil is dry. since I put into the happy frog I watered Monday n I havent since soil barely starting to get dry . I went from beer pong red cups to 1 gallon pot n watered 2 cups after transplant. Water barely came out bottom of pot n from wat I’ve read that’s good. I just don’t kno y they have the spots lol . I hear they look good so I’m unsure to address an issue or leave b. As far as nutes I have fox farm trio . I haven’t added any yet since guy from my hydro store told me I would add them cuz it might burn them out
He said wait 3 to 4 weeks so plant eats wats in soil already
Really? Burn them??? FF makes pretty safe stuff as long as you don’t give them too much. I swear by the Big Bloom organic food. They seem to really dig it
Yea cuz he said it being in the miracle grow potting soil for roots that it’s strong. so it having been in there n then going to happy frog ,he said he would wait 3 to 4 weeks from Oct 9th the day I transplanted b4 I put the nutes in… so now my question to u is wat u think? Should I just go off the ff trio chart n start adding the nutes according to the chart? Or should I wait ? I don’t want to lose these gelato like I did the gsc
If you have them transplanted into better soil then I would just wait until they get comfortable in there and grow some strong roots. Then get back on the designated feeding schedule.
Ok sounds good thanks a lot ur a big help appreciate it… stay elevated
I’ll keep u posted as it goes
Please do @Jaba31
Hello again… just a quick question n some up dated pics… wat week should I start on from the ff trio chart? My plants r 3 of them 5weeks old n other two 4 weeks old … they getting 1st feeding of nutes today after transplanting to better soil
Looking good @Jaba31! If you have the all organic FF Big Bloom, you can give them that right away. It helps the roots take up important nutrients. As for the feeding schedule, just start it as soon as the plant has established some healthy roots. After transplanting, just give them water and after a few days (maybe a week), you can start the feeding schedule.
Ok cool I thought so n I just jumped to the week 4 on the schedule since 2 of them r 4weeks old n then I just halfed wat the bottle said since it was the first time
Hello again just thought I’d give u n update n ask a question… the girls seem to b doing well except some r getting lil spots on them, check them out n let me kno wat u think plzz
