Girl Scout Cookie soil indoor grow

If you take them now it would save the plant from using the energy and nutrients it has stored to heal the dying leaves and would put all nutrients and energy towards new healthy growth

man to be honest it seems if you have been over feeding nutrients to your girl . i could be a cal mag & nitrogen issue. i would recommend flushing your plant and and mix up some epsom salt to a gallon of water that should clean up all the salts from the nutes in your soil

I haven’t even fed her anything but water. There are nutes in the soil I just transplanted her in a couple of weeks ago. Still think I should flush?

day 19 this is before I pulled the brown bottom leaves off.

We all have go ahead company is legit

I’d feed her something with a N-P-K ratio and some cal mg she looks like she has a deficiency

day 21 day23 she looks like she will pull thru. Added cal mag.

Transplant it again out of that soil , it has time release nitrogen which is causing problems , get you some moisture control miracle grow or fox farm ocean forest or happy frog , light warrior , roots organic and add a half bag or perlite and Clayton pellets and get her out that soil , so she can recover and put on for you .

All I could find was the moisture control miracle grow so I grabbed that. Will be transplanting her in it in the morning.

Did you get any perlite to mix with it at all ?

Yes half a bag as you stated!

Awesome that soil will work great , it just don’t have that extra micro organism like organic soil like Fox Farm of Roots Organic .

day 31 in veg and second day since New soil transplant. How long do you guys keep in veg? I’m thinking two months minimum.

I veg mine any where from 2-5 months depends on how bad I need space to open up or how patient I wanna be for a bigger yield lol, honestly I think it’s up to you, but 2 months sounds about right

@thatproduct look at the plant , seriously you do not want to flower her yet , she has been stressed in the other soil . I know she looking better but you should top it and let the 2 top nodes grow out from topping , once the start putting on new growth of foliage and new leaves on top , trim the two very bottom leaves site which is nodes , and let the plant fan out a little and get bushy . If you flower now , you won’t get more than 7 grams of not less , so train her ah little and be patient , it’s gorilla glue from a clone , so you want to get as much as you can . Now the soil is calibrated and not burning her , relax , take you time and let her reward you big . 50 grams is better than 7 grams of 33.5 % THC any day .

I’m def not thinking about flowering yet just wondering how long u guys veg. I am thinking two months minimum. The clone is girl scout cookie. I was thinking about topping as well. Will it really make a huge difference in yield though?

Time is what makes a difference in yield.

A plant can only produce up to its genetic potential (and that’s seldom if ever achieved)

What topping will do is make the plant’s auxins in the top branch switch to the lower branches, promoting lower growth
-good if you want to take clones, not so great if you dont have much space

Day 33 should I continue to feed her just water for now. Soil says it feeds up to six months. Should I add any cal mag?

What I would do is measure the PPM in my runoff, and then I would start on a very low dose of nutes if it seemed advisable

  • best wishes

@thatproduct22 I agree with paranorman measure your ppm in the run off would give you a better idea of where the plant feeding level is at in the soil , so if you add a light mix of nutrients at the same ppm , it won’t harmed the plant like early on in the grow , but man she has made a change big time now she in better soil . But give her another week and start with about a quarter measurement 1/4 of what grow nutrients you have for grow and ph it at the same level the run off is also and you should be fine .
