A little more catching up to do. My last post was through day 18/19.
1/30 day 25.
They have responded nicely to the warmer temperatures and more light.
Size wise they are essentially equal in height and width. One of the three
I surmised the twisting was from a fan and the intake close to it in the tent. I raised the fan about six inches and turned off the intake fan. I also unzipped the tent since I didn’t have the direct intake.
2/2 day 28
This is the same plant a few days later. I also put a humidifier in the tent. Trying to keep humidity above 50 with lights on. It goes up to 60 - 70% with lights off because of the slightly lower temps. At any rate she has recovered and is happy.
The photo also says what is on today’s activities. Time to top these girls and prepare them for their manifold.
Topped above 4th node with leaves removed. I did this just to show the growth tips that remain (not for long though)
Pretty much anything I get my hands on. I have even done it on clones. A little more challenging because the alternate growth pattern of the leaves & growth tips.
GDP is supposed to be a compact strain so my plan is to not flux (flatten them) as much as I would do with a haze. I will still tie them off and try to keep the sides even height wise but will let them grow a little more vertically. That is the plan any way.
The main reason I think is spacing and spreading them out. Plus I am not in a rush and really like the form. I have given the quad some thought though. I used to use it on autos. I am thinking of using the quad in a six plant SOG with strict adherence to four colas (yeah right that never works) in a 2x2 frame.
I’ve got a mainline that I messed with when I thought it was showing male parts that I turned into 4 tops. I actually love it’s shape. Would be an awesome way to get deferral strains in a tighter space
So i am going to keep the 5x5 table set up…so before the next run i want to strategize on what method to use…and how many under the table…probably BlackBerry and mango kush
I love the GDP I grew outside this past summer. I did lose a big chunk to Mother Nature and her minions.
I can’t wait to do an indoor run with it at some point.
I think I can get even better results inside in a controlled environment and without competition from the natives!
And after lurking and learning on your others posts and your contributions to mine, I know you’ll knock them out of the park!!
I’m actually building up enough stash now where I feel comfortable taking more time to do some experiments so I can’t wait to watch this grow and technique!!
The girls look great!! And that beautiful dark green color!!
