The color and growth of the two in the closet are so different than the tent. The closet is cooler than the tent during lights off. And, these are under HLG 260.
Closet 4/6 day 21 on 12/12
This is White. Same deal - three week defoliation.
White lost one of it main stems so she has 7. At least she stretched a little bit.
Does it make sense to increase Part A 10% from 3.6 to 4.0g / gallon?
Usually don’t want to be adding N during flower but I am thinking they need a little something.
Outstanding looking!
How much ES are you using? If it’s Jack’s you’re referring to, I know they call for 1.2 but I have found 1.5 seems to help with making things a little greener.
Did you by some chance let the light get a little too close a week or so ago? Seems like to me the light green is near the top, but newer growth appears to be greener.
I have regularly increased ES 10%. And also increased A&B the last couple of times I replenished the autopot reservoir. They are on the 2-2-2-1.2 MKP formula except I have increased each it to 2.2 and kept MKP at 1.2
Lights - I have not touched them. The light is 20" above Whites tallest and Red’s light is still around 24".
I’ll be going off MKP with the next fill and will keep ES at 110% and also for A.
I ran 4-2-1.5 a week before flower to the end on the last run. Not that I had any bragging right results, but the plants looked great in color overall health.
I have always ran Jack’s 321 start to finish, with no issues.
This time, I ran the 2.2.2.1.2 the first 10 days. I got off of it after 10 days because I was seeing too many deficiencies. Found out later, that’s pretty normal. It just made them ugly for a time.
@HappyHydroGrower with the one in the tent I tried Jack’s Blossom Booster. However after a week runoff ppm skyrocketed. Went back to straight Jacks for a couple of feedings then used MKP formula. I did up ES and cal-nitrate though. That plant had no issues.
Nice! I love your pvc setup! There are few things I respect more than a thinking man’s brain. I already knew you were smart. Anyone that can successfully bottle maple syrup on a small scale (from start to finish) is someone I’d go fishing with (and I like to fish alone).
Thanks that is very kind.
Speaking of fishing, I used to do a lot of it. When we did a little work on our house we doubled our garage space. It was made deep enough so I could back my boat into it and still have it hooked to the truck and be able to close the garage door. It made those sunrise on the water mornings easy to do.
I sold the boat a few years back and recaptured some of the space with a closet in an expanded grow area.
That would be a hard one for me… I think at this stage in life I’d swap tent for my boat back . The little thing I have now can’t fit the whole family. So we almost never use it.
This is my first time growing GDP. I am seeing a lot of white new pistils on yours. It is hard to tell with grow lights on. Flash is best. I am thinking yours is more like 4 weeks. When did you change to 12/12? When were buttons first showing?
It has been a while since I checked in on the clones.
The first ones cut are well established and I did not want them to go crazy so keeping them in little solo cups and topped all but 2.
These are the four biggest ones
Doing ok my @$$! They look great! I am definitely about two weeks behind you even though I flipped sooner… (I think) My light malfunction delayed me by about two weeks. Keep’em growin!
