I will always remember Will as the guy who could make me laugh out of frustration. It was impossible not to like the guy. He will definitely be missed around here. Rest easy Will!
I am a new grower that started organic living soil growing. The name you always came back to was Willās. He had soil recipes and always wanted to know how yours was doing. Cancer is something you will hear about if you live long enough. Unfortunately its that common. Please send Willās family and friends my condolences. He will be missed by so many people. I very much like the idea of a strain in his honor. For those like me who cannot pull something like that off, maybe donate to the American Cancer Society in his memory. Sad day.
Thanks for all your guidance Will
See you on the other side
Rest in peace
He was an outstanding leader in this community and a treasure trove of knowledge that help so many of us. Itās says a lot about someone when they will even be missed by people that never got to meet them.
Rest In Peace, Will.
He was tall and thin. I think a Sativ might be in order.
If you or anyone decides to make any donations in Willās name and I iwll give you his real name if you do. Will would wihtout any doubt want the donaitonās to go to St.Judes Childrenās hospital. Hos baseball memorabil;ia collection (a really big collection) is supposed to be donated to St. Judes or any other legitimate Childrenās hospital.
Thanks for that thought. It would make Will very happy that you though that much of him.
Yes, Will and I hung out together. We had a Millworks and hardwood / rustic furniture business and sold live edge slabs. This all developed over the past 3-4 years, although Will has taken the 6 hour drive to my farm a few times over the years to hang out a day or 2.
In 2019 we went to the Bristol Night race, and on the way out Will had a stroke. Even though legally blind, I had to drive us home. the next morning I woke to find him and his girlgriend /caregiver walking him to the car. He checked into the hospital in another City, and I was stranded at his home for a week. It was a bith, but what can you do. No one has any idea how much of a hole in my soul. Bristol is having a once in a lifetime experience by covering the track in dirt ofr the Spring Nascar race. We were going to attmpr to go. I doubt I would be able to go wihtout him.
Just this past Saturday we hael a memorial jam here to say goodbye to a longtime friend and musician here in my region. So, imagine how I felt when I finally found Will was gone.
I am so happy to see how many here are catching onto what happened and have shared so many kind words.
Peace to all and please stay safe, wear a mask, so we can try to get back to our normal style of living. Love to you all, lw ~ Roger
If anyone wants ot make a donation in Willās name; Let me know by making a topic and I will give you his real name. Willās favorite charity is St. Judes or any other major childrenās hospital that does not require families in need to pay. thanks.
Iām so sorry to hear this. I never had the pleasure of chatting with him or knowing him. I have read so many of his knowledgeable posts. His memory will live on her at ILGM. My condolences to his friends and family.
Very good cause. I just donated to them 2 days ago, what a coincidence
Garrigan was a top shelf human being. I know we all will go in our time, itās just hard to get past losing one of the good ones!
I was thinking the same thing. A sativa is definitely in order for our Global Ambassador
@latewood we would like to give, we donate to St.Judes now, amazing thing they do therebutwould like to for will
Very sorry to hear this for all those involved and who knew the man. I never had any interactions with him myself, but I have read enough of his post searching through old threads to know that he was somebody who is willing to help, and at least he will live on with all of the knowledge that he has been able to share with the people of this forum and possibly those that He Touched in his life. To his family and friends my deepest condolences and prayers.
Between jokes and posts ,reality hits, thank you for a great community , if he could see how much he will be missed , hope you are in ever-glory, rest In peace.
Sorry to hear about Garrigan passing. R.I.P Brother.
RIP brotherā¦ Truly an icon here. Although I have not personally had any conversations with him but by reading this forum in any shape you had his input by his knowledge he so freely gave.
I had no idea about Will. I have been out of the loop for a while and just catching up. May he rest in peace. He sounded like a true gent
