Heys guys, I ve had some kind of mottled coloring to some leaves my last two grows. They grow out of it but those leaves never recover. It’s on the fan leaves, only one or two and it gets semi see thru, like the chlorophyll gets bleached or something. I start them under my Szhlux 620 light with white on 40% at 30 inches above plants. It hasn’t affected my grows, just want to know what it is and why it happens. @Incognito @Lostgirl
One is Northern Lights, other is BlackBerry Moonrocks
Looks like leaf variegation. Usually snap out of it. Not a nutrient or light thing. Just a plant thing.

Hey @Growdoc, I think that you meant to tag @OGIncognito
You left the OG part out. The Incognito that you tagged has not been around for several years. Perhaps your tag will bring them back.

Normal leaf variegation. Mine do it all the time. I call it marbling. Ignore it nothing at all to worry about

Thank yall, I thought so but wanted your opinions. Like I said, they have grown out of it every time, I just thought it weird two different strains did exact same thing. I’ve had GDP do same. I’ll just carry on, if that’s the worst of my problems, then I don’t have any problems! lol Happy Weekend to everybody!

@2GreenThumbs its not pests, checked that for sure. I’ve had this three times now on one or two leaves. They always grow right out of it, I’d just like to know why it happens. Trust me, I check every plants runoff, root ph, root temps, ppm, every week. This only happens as they go from seeding to vegetation stage. It happened once under the Viparspectra PAR 1200 and twice under the Szhlux 840w.
The only thing i can remember is, the leaves that looked exactly like yours were grown in recycled soil and that ended me recycling soil.

@2GreenThumbs I found it! Checked ph last night, it was 6.6 in Promix, I flushed a bit and fed them at 5.8, they are praying to the light today, wanting a few more lumens, which I will gladly give them! Lol It was high ph after all, I need to back off on the dolomite a bit.
